  1. This PAM499 arrived today and it's one sweet 44mm watch. The watch is very accurate visually, even the strap is pretty much spot-on, and with the correct new standard length 125/75. Besides the overall accuracy, I was impressed that the dial and indices/markers all have the correct glossy finish. DW bevel is good and the cg well done too. I find it hard to believe this one hasn't gotten more attention on the forums. Some quick pics just after it arrived... Lume shot in the shade...
  2. Thanks! Polished case back and engraved and # stamped cg as they originally were done.
  3. A little more overall subtle aging and reworking the cg and lever...
  4. Damn... now when I see a nice example like yours with a Pepsi insert, I start looking for a nice one FS.
  5. There were a couple of dealers blowing these out for $238 plus shipping... I don't know if any are left.
  6. No, the movement is not a perfect 1:1 replication, but the rest of the watch is a fantastic effort... doesn't get any better... so far...
  7. 1987... first year Rolex started using a letter prefix... so "R" for mine.
  8. Thanks guys! Its been a long time since I've enjoyed a watch this much.
  9. More pics to follow... picked this one up today. Just starting to develop a nice subtle patina.
  10. Not familiar with that one... is it an acronym?
  11. All original period correct parts except for the service T19 plexi and the 703 crown.
  12. Thanks guys! Now I've got the bug to build a similar look 5513.
  13. I picked up this awesome build from one of RWG's finest. It was put together with all gen parts collected over a period of time as well as some parts from other similar builds. The parts show considerable wear (you can't fake this kind wear and tear) and the dial is patina heaven for me... of course YMMV, but for me they are beautiful (the hands too). The movement is a correct model Tudor 390 in great condition. All put together by Speedy. I have lusted a long time for a 7928 PCGs, but they have been steadily going up in price, so when this one came along... BOOM! Love those PCGs...
  14. Hardcore 7928 PCGS vintage love... an all gen parts build that I picked up this past week from an esteemed member...
  15. My 183G with stamped plates for comparison...
  16. Thought I'd wake this thread up... some amazing builds in this thread!!! Can never have enough 5513 pics!!! Not mine but got to spend some time with it...
  17. My flipper habit be damned, have owned this one for a week now I think a good part of that is how nice the strap is with it...
