  1. And the fact it's got "TACHYMETRE" on the Bezel instead of "TACHYMETER" or are there different versions ?
  2. The White Faced one looks nice too, do keep us posted, depending on how happy you are, I'll pull the trigger on the Black Faced one ;-)
  3. Just wondering did you end up getting the "Chopard - Mille Miglia" from Ruby, looking into it myself.
  4. Thank you for this nice topic. I'm dying to get an MBK Blue Nautilus, so these cheaper options to complement it will be nice. Just need to find a good place to find them now !
  5. I'll take your word for it, I'm still trying to buy an MBK Blue Nautilus, I was just surprised by the prices of these, I wonder if they are MBK's ?
  6. Talking of super reps, not sure if this one deserves the rating, but with an asking price of $799 discounted to $499 you'd hope it does, not sure I can post a direct link so you'll find it by going to watchez and searching for "Phillipe-008" "Patek-Phillipe - NAUTILUS JUMBO - CD-Patek-Phillipe-008 AAA Swiss Patek-Phillipe - 2008 Collection "
  7. PP are well known for the Nautilus of course, but the 5127 in the Calatrava series is rather gorgeous I think ! Has anyone ever come across a nice rep, MBK style ? Here is good link for info with pics : http://www.network54.com/Forum/196053/thre...127+Calatrava+*
  8. My understanding is that these references you had found are for "Non-MBK" version and likely the so called "MBW" that now appear to be Chinese copies of the MBK and that can also be found on sites like rolex2u (what's confusing is that the replicawatches review mentions MBW not MBK). I placed an order for the MBK with Eurotimez on Saturday asking for confirmation of this but haven't heard back since. He did say he was busy with a new site but just in case something went wrong with my order (it took a long time to post) I sent him an email yesterday.
  9. Nice, was that an online deal ? Is it sill maybe available, would be a good way to start my PP rep collection!
  10. Why not an MBK, I'm looking at the MBK Nauti and Aquanaut and they both look good, anything wrong with the MBK Aqua ?
  11. On the market for an blue MBK too so thought I'd revive that thread, may I ask where you got yours? I'd found Eurotimez but it looks like he's going to be busy in October and all of a sudden I'm in a hurry of course ;-)
  12. Well thank you, that certainly takes care of my questions, just need to hear back from Eurotimez now, with the $500 asking price over there for an MBQ maybe he could start popping them open with his watchmaker, since he says he QC's them, but maybe that would be too much work. Is he pretty much the only source out there if you can't travel to MBQ in person ? If $450 is the price you can get over there then the premium seems justfified with his connections and QC. Another gorgeous PP, in another style entirely, is the Calatrava 5127 and probably not too hard to rep, but don't see it discussed much...hehe I feel the bug is coming back ;-)
  13. Thanks again ! Wow that MBK/MBW situation is confusing, I thought MBK was one "maker" and MBW another one, it seems only Eurotimez has the "MBK" though and "google found" sites have MBW either with ETA or an Asian Copy, priced at $330 and $130 respectively. To make it even more confusing, the replicawatchreport mentioned the MBW as a good rep, maybe they meant MBK? My head is hurting ;-) Also I must be missing something but if they can service the watch, why can't they check if it's a genuine ETA movement ? Is it when they got serviced that people found MBK were using ETA clones ? Thanks !
  14. Thanks for being upfront about that, but I have a silly question, how can the watch be serviced if it can't be opened to check the movement in the first place? Do you service MBK PP's?
  15. Thanks for the welcome and the clarification. I'm a bit concerned by your comment that even getting an MBK at Eurotimez can't guarantee a Swiss ETA (the "ETA Clones" you mention are Asian movements I take it?), hopefully Eurotimez would have the expertise to detect that when they do their QC. [actually not, as clarified by "Eurotimez" in person here...As a side note, maybe a silly questin, but how do you get it serviced if it can't be opened ? At the end of the day there is no way I'd be able to check so probably wouldn't know the difference unless the time is really "loose" and event so, on my gen Rolex 16200 it's not that accurate ! Still it's a bit worrying. One last thing, and sorry if it's a bit OT, I didn't see it spelled out but MBK is from Thailand (?) and MBW from China ? What do the letters actually stand for ?
  16. Fascinating topic, thanks ! I've been "in love" with the Nautilus for 10 years and actually tried on a gen last week, second-hand but seemingly new, asking price €17,800 negotiable at €17,000, nice gesture, eh... Here it is So...it seems I'll be going the rep way for now! I read the thread closely, impressed by the expertise and quality of the comments, it seems the source is now, not cheap but they appear to be of stellar quality, I'm confused though because I can't find the "Blue/Burnt /PP-NT-007 (PP0044D) and the Black/Dotted/PP-NT-010 (PP0044G) " references on the Eurotimez site, (ok they have separate listings for "standard" and "MBK" quality) I only see PP-001 to PP-005 and then PP-048. Can't say for sure if the gen above is the PP-001 or the PP-002 ? If I may, I have a few questions on the MBW/MBK labels, for instance the one reviewed on replicawatchreport is an MBW, so not the one discussed here? They give it a good rating too but say the font of the date is off. I understand I can't put the links here, but Google found me a "Nautilus Jumbo MBW Blue Dial with Asia Automatic Movement" for $138 and a "Nautilus Jumbo MBW Swiss ETA 2824 Movement" for $335 - They look pretty good to me, and maybe closer to the 5711/ss design with the 43mm case, anyone tried them? Anyone know why MBK didn't go with the actual 3700 design (no seconds) or the actual 5711 with the 43mm? Thanks !
  17. Hi, Watch fan here, got my first replicas in NYC in the early 90s (Rolex datejust, Rolex Submariner, etc..), then moved on to the"real thing", but am considering going back to that hobby for some Patek Replicas and am happy to find this place to discuss that ;-) Bill
