  1. Thanks! I bought it from a member on this forum...it showed up in two days. He gave me a great deal. Im really impressed at how heavy it is for a cheap Rep. Sounds....like....YOU....may want a TT next Before I even have my Euro TT...I already want either the Euromariner sub that you have, or the vintage Red 1680 MBK...from Chris. Ill post pics of my Euromariner when I get it...after seeing yours...I cant wait!
  2. Nice pics. Thanks for the info. I know I'm in good hands...Chris has been really great with the emails. I know that he had to order a Noob dial,DW and bracelet since he is making me a TT that he did'nt have in stock. I actually purchased a cheapy TT in the mean time, one I can wear at my job without worries. Here are the pics... http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=41197 Of course, let the experienced members give you a review of your watch...but from what Ive learned so far, If yours has the clark crystal (it looks like one in the pics)...you should be good to GO!!! That is ONE SWEET LOOKING WATCH....enjoy!
  3. Looks awesome...may I ask when you ordered that? Did you receive a tracking or any notice prior to receiving it? I am curious because I also ordered a modded TT Euromariner four weeks ago from Chris (also with the engraved rehaut). I was told mine could take a bit longer, so this is ok...Im just curious. Chris is super busy. I see he has been working on his website. If you would like, to post large pics without thumbnails...sign up for Photobucket...its free...then follow this links info...the same process works for either repgeek or rwg. http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=6360 Thanks!
  4. Thanks, I appreciate that...I used to be a photographer for many years. Sorry, I had another post describing this purchase, but I didnt know how to post large pics yet. Yes...its my first rep and Im impressed. Its much better weight and feel than I thought a cheaper rep would be. Ive only seen a couple of Rolex reps at local antique malls...and they were aweful. Im actually waiting for a mod Eurotimez from Chris. Its going have an MBK case and bezel, Noob dial, dw and bracelet. Clark crystal, fatter gen like tube and upgraded pearl...so this was my 'lack of patience' purchase...and I got lucky. Thanks again Southwest for the sale.
  5. I just bought this from a member on this forum...here are larger pics...
  6. Chris said it could take a bit longer than the usual 2-3 weeks...that's all I know. I emailed him a few days ago, then I read his post about being super busy. Ive mention to Chris that I'm not in a hurry at all. For my Euromariner, he is doing many things...a prototype Euromariner TT with: Noob dial, DW and bracelet, morphed with an MBK case, bezel. Then for mods...a fatter gen like tube, clark crystal and an upgraded pearl! It was a bit more than I wanted to spend. Im expecting a sweet rep based on Chris's reputation. He was really patient with my 'noob' emails...answered everything I asked...then I found all the answers on RWG. You can find everything on this forum! Do you have any pics of your TT?
  7. Thanks! Yeah Im really excited to get my Euromariner now. From what Ive learned on RWG so far, I can spot many things that are incorrect as expected. I guess I was thinking about some really bad Rolex reps that Ive seen locally. You could spot problems a mile away without even picking them up...so I am impressed with the quality for the megar amount Ive paid for it. It will be great to wear to band gigs and I wont have to worry about it at all. I oiled the bracelet...wow what a difference...thanks for the tips RWG. Now I hope it stays running for a while...it has the st6d movement.
  8. Ok...so I couldnt wait for my Eurotimez to arrive (its been 3 weeks so far as expected, Chris is super busy). So I bought an identical 'lower priced' version from a member here on rwg...yeah you read right...a second exact model TT. It arrived in a speedy two days from my purchase! I am very impressed...seeing that this is the first rep Ive ever owned. Unless you are on these forums looking at close up pics, AD, or a gen owner...this is totally acceptable. Im sure I will be happy with Chris's modded TT ...but this watch has me scratching my head a bit asking...why did I order the expensive rep? Thanks southwest for a great 'wearer' and making my first rep a successful transaction!
  9. Keep digging this site has everything!!!
  10. Sorry to hear this Delboy...hang in there.
  11. Great story. Im right there with you VDOG...Im hooked and I dont even own a rep yet....or know what a rep looks like...etc. I cant wait to get my Euromariner now.
  12. Thanks By-Tor...another great review. You really help a newbie out.
  13. Nice mods. I am starting to see the addiction to reps. Its all about making them as accurate as possible...will it show up? will it be in one piece? how can I make it better? I dont even know how to take the crown post off of a watch yet. I used to fly RC helicopters...now watches.
  14. MBK: $520.00 + $30.00 for swiss GEN ETA. This MBK price includes the morph with a Noobfactory Dial, DW, Bracelet...and other Euromariner bonus's like a fatter gen sized crown tube, watchmaker pearl and Clark gen sized crystal.
  15. Nice...I like the white face one too.
  16. Nice Tigger Nex...brings back memories! I hope you get your shipping problems worked out. I heard back from Chris prompt and pro as usual...2-3 weeks and he may be able to ship my Prototype TT Euromariner Swiss ETA 'RRR'. Im not in a rush...Ill have time pick out the next rep sub....hmm....maybe a GMT master 2...??? I had a profile pic, I changed it...now its gone??? Yes its 150x119 pixels...anyone know why its not showing up?
  17. Thanks...bluesphere Im starting to understand now. Thanks for that pic off of ebay vizsladog...now I know what to expect in my Euromariner. Ill check out Eurotimez info also. Chris sent me yet another great email loaded with info today about ETA. At an hourly rate...he is probably making my watch for nearly free at this point. Thanks everyone!
  18. Yeah Tigger didnt make a good rep dealer! Ill make sure to do pics. I was a pro for many years...used to shoot for Budweiser, RC boat magazine, Miller...etc. I dont have a studio at home, but Ill do my best and take a day being a watch stylist to get some reasonable pics. I know they wont be as good as some of the watch shots Ive seen on here...Great pics on here by the way everyone! I used to work in studios that shot watches for Famous Barr. The lady art director from NYC was a tough 'eye'. She would make us shoot all day for one hero shot...moving a watch 2 millimeters at a time! We would have six watches hung in a tree for xmas shots...etc. Its true...the good magazines and sales brochures usually have the hands set at 10:10. My avatar photo is a pic 'of a pic' that I shot of my grandfathers pocket watches (he was a watch/clock maker, now rolling in his grave for me buying an expensive rep ).
  19. Thats funny...Im trying to find the place to edit the title...I know...Im new!
  20. Well I did it...I just sent payment for a sweet Euromariner... possibly a PROTOTYPE (according to Chris). I was told I may be the first proud owner of this Euromariner TT V2 Blue Gen ETA with 'RRR' on the rehaut (I like it...whatever:) ). Chris was prompt with many emails, and very nice helping out a new buyer to understand the rep-maze. This was much more than I wanted to spend originally...SO... I hope you all re-assure and support my purchase to relieve the soon to be extreme guilt ...(tell me I did the right thing, I picked the right seller, Ill score chics in my band...etc!). Thanks for the help on this Forum! I will post pics when I get it...tic toc...tic toc...
  21. Nice! Do you have any pics of the ETA?
  22. Hello, does anyone know where I can see pics of the actual movement of a Euromariner with upgraded ETA movement? How about any info on this upgraded ETA from Eurotimez...how many jewels, where is it made? How about a pic of a Noob or MBK movement that has been upgraded to an ETA? I am nearing the corner on my order from Chris (great guy) and this is my only 'unknown'. Thank you
