Cheap Gens In Las Vegas - Where To Go?
solicitor replied to Category 5's topic in General Discussion
HOROLOGIO, at the Venetian, the Grand Canal Shoppes, has a good rep for offering discounts.... -
They don't usually ask what it's for in my experience..

I'm in the U.S. It's better to travel to a Moneygram location and pay cash. There are more locations than Western Union! If you use a credit card online it will most likely be considered a cash advance by your credit card company/bank which will incur an instant fee plus an increased APR on your balance. That's on top of the Moneygram transfer fee! You may want to speak to your credit card company/bank about it if you're not certain. Also, I believe the Moneygram transfer fee is slightly less if done at one of their locations as opposed to online. Generally they only ask if you know the person you're sending the money to. Just state an uneqivocal YES; most operators will not ask anything more. I have used Moneygram for years and haven't had any problems. If you apply for a free Moneygram card they will reduce their transfer fees slightly, too. The transfer fees for Moneygram are generally less than Western Union. Does that help?

Essentially under California criminal law, simple possession of counterfeit items (which are otherwise lawful), is lawful unless one has an intent to sell or defraud.

Pearl is not centered correctly, but otherwise that's pretty damn close. I think the bezel fonts are off, but ever so slightly. Impressive....enjoy! Here's a comparison of the GEN, top, with your REP, bottom:

Sorry to hear that. Wow, that's hard to believe that NO ONE showed! I'd love to hear the reasons. I'm off the hook, however, since I live on the opposite coast!

Trusty's Pam Ferrari Rattrapante 00005, Beautiful, But..

Yeah, it's basically a fantasy watch.... -
Andrew & Josh's Response To The Little White Lies Thread...
solicitor replied to trustywatchguy's topic in General Discussion
Whoa, with all due respect, you guys have far too much time on your wrists, umm, hands.... -
I'd e-mail Andrew and ask any and all questions. From what I can see, the "VII" leg is off a bit ( and "cartier" is off), and the date font is wrong (too bold) and looks more recessed than the gen.....

Evidently they sell the Bell & Ross Instrument BR01-92 ETA 2892 46mm watch with a SWISS ETA 2892 for only $195.00USD. Right!

Andrew & Josh's Response To The Little White Lies Thread...
solicitor replied to trustywatchguy's topic in General Discussion
I was one of the few who actually purchased the BR-092 watch from Andrew thinking it was a genuine Swiss ETA movement. It never occurred to me that something called an "ETA" movement would be anything but a Swiss-made movement. Yeah, I guess I was naive. Nevertheless, I do feel I was misled. If the term "Asian" had preceded it, or "clone" had followed it, I would have thought twice about buying the watch. The superlume, or lack thereof, is also a concern, but less so for me. I must say, however, that thus far the watch has performed as well as, if not better than, all my other reps. We'll see how long that lasts. So, because I have otherwise had excellent service and communication from Andrew, I will continue to buy watches from him. I simply won't take anything for granted any longer when it comes to his descriptions....Caveat emptor!! -
Yeah, I assume they're inspected. The tax rate suggests they know they're inexpensive reps!
-
Devedander: How many watches were contained in each order? My watches always go through SFO and I have never had a problem...so far.
-
Simon: Chopard Mille Miglia Chrono??? Looks like a rubber strap.
-
Interestingly, my last gf always wore her watch, except in the shower. I tend to take it off whenever I enter the house. I agree, that's when house chores and stuff do the most damage. I definitely do not wear it during sex-they're dangerous!

That explains why he has been unusually silent...

It is not clear, but this gives you an idea of the position of the serial numbers on the caseback (arrow #3) of a gen 2907.50.91. I would think they could copy any other PO caseback for exact details. Here it's 1xxxx/5007.

"Perfect" is a relative term when dealing with reps. Josh sells the best available, but ALL reps have flaws. Only you can gauge how significant they may be. If you're looking for a "perfect clone", I suggest you abandon your search now and buy a gen. That being said, they are getting better in quality. That's my two cents...
-
This is odd...
-
Maybe with a different colored dial, otherwise I'd have to pass on that one...

Please excuse my ignorance, but is there an advantage to buying a genuine Panerai in Singapore? How much off the retail price would be typical? Thanks! ..

According to the ubiquitous "Mr. J.C. Biver" himself, Hublot is going to introduce a Sub gen and a 46mm gen in September 2007..

Ouch. Some poor fool paid over 4K for that watch. No box and papers! That should be a dead giveaway. This is grand theft as far as I'm concerned. Paying too much when you know it's a rep is one thing; paying for a rep as genuine is a crime. Last time I spotted one of these I e-mailed the buyer before the bidding ended. He ignored me, the moron! (it's possible, however, he was a shill.)

I prefer this non-chrono...one of my favorite Gens:
