All rep AR for PAMs should be coated in the inside, as per gen.

DSN's AR depends on batch. One batch may be blue, the other purple. YMMV. Offhand, I'd say you are better off without AR. Check with DSN, he can build you a watch without AR.

See... You're pretty good at it. The one on the right is my rep with the whole crystal double-ARed. Tells when zoomed in seem to be: - 6 and 9 markers are too wide - rep lume is too white and glossy (since it is mostly white paint....), gen is slightly matte and ever so slightly yellowish-green (it may not be pure C1) - rep insert numerals are whiter (also painted I guess), gen is slightly darker (platinum) - the green of the rep gmt hand is darker, gen is brighter green, same for the green text on the dial Here's some cropped pics Gen Rep

I think that only we guys stare at someone else's watch long and hard enough to tell if it is quartz or automatic. (I also think we are the only ones who actually care) I saw a guy (yes, a guy) over the weekend with a white ceramic 38mm J12 with a ticking seconds hand. (He was also sporting a bright red iPhone leather case...) I may be wrong but I believe that only 33mm and some iced-out 38mms (without seconds hand) use quartz movements.

Can you guess? Hint: figure out which is gen and which is rep first...

I think there was something about iPads over-heating in the sun too.

I sourced a NOS gen 6mm crown for my BK GMT Transformer but it apparently slipped. In the end, I had to get another one which didn't give any problems.

My colleague wore his gen GMTIIc today and I happened to wear the rep. This is a quick and dirty iPhone pic of both side by side.

If it is a rachet problem, it should be an easy and hopefully, cheap fix. It should give the movement a few more months of life before the secs@6 timebomb rears its ugly head.
