I remember someone mentioning that the RG rubberclad is one of the more accurate rubberclad reps around.
As for the movement, it is not as bad as the seconds@6. Sending it for servicing especially with ZM or Francisco (they polish one of the gears for lower friction) would be a good idea.
I think they have fixed the rubber flaking problem.
EMS actually comes to me slower than registered mail. Where I live, the post guys who deliver registered mail also deliver regular mail so they can leave a notification in the mailbox. The guys who deliver EMS have no access to the mailbox and the door (due to the security system) so I don't get a notification until 6 working days later. I have to actively track EMS shipments every now and then.
Just read up on this. The original Calibre 2500 is 28000bph like the 2892 but supposedly was found running too fast for the co-axial escarpment so they updated to Calibre 2500C which runs at 25200bph.
This is really nice. I wish there was a pointed rep radi case around, that stops me cold on radi reps. I'm also a base guy but the secs@9 on a 47mm gives a more subtle effect than a 44mm marina.
I checked with Domi and he said he was able to do it (he did it for concepta, after all) but didn't follow through as it was too risky to ship stuff to Germany.
