  1. I have been here long enough to know about the CHS movements, most dealers that aren't cartel don't even carry them anymore. I am getting the ETA movement in either watch I just think they both have equally good qualities that make them unique. The Coke is classic yet different, it has all the Rolex looks but a bezel that you won't find on any other watch. However, the Ceramic has an amazing bracelet and clasp and it looks dressier, which I don't know if I want because I have an Explorer II Black Dial already. I wish somebody would sell one for a good price and end this. Thanks For The Help So Far. Merc
  2. Ok, well the Pam sold so that one is out of the question now. It's now between the Coke and the GMTII Ceramic.
  3. The white Explorer is my grail watch as well, but the greyish hour markers made me go with the near flawless black dial. The 21J is a workhorse and always a great cheap choice. Very nice find.
  4. Ok, I never even considered looking at the Pam Ferrari 004 in this purchase because I had once but chose the Tag SLR because of an unbeatable price. I love the Rolex GMTII Coke and Ceramic and those were my choices, but now a member a RG has a Ferrari 004 for sale and now I am just lost on what to get. HELP
  5. Hmmm.. I never though about this as a ladies watch. As long as he doesn't like the diamonds and sparkly bezels of the ladies datejusts and likes simplicity better then go for it. It just seems like a manly watch to me.
  6. I miss my lava lamp. Nice collection you got there.
  7. I can't believe what happened today, I forgot my watch. I was going with the Rolex Explorer II but I walked out without it. I knew something felt off when I was leaving.
  8. I doubt I'll be in Japan anytime soon, but thanks for the tip. I wonder how much commission they would get off that 200k watch?
  9. Rolex Daytona, mostly due to the movement.
  10. I have searched for the answer to this but found no real definite yes or no. In the GMT II and the GMT IIC, they both come with ETA and Asian Clone movements. Which is the most reliable and is the ETA version more reliable and worth the extra bucks. I don't plan on doing any swaps I just want a reliable movement that won't cause problems. Thank You In Advance
  11. The search function isn't working right now so I will answer. My favorites are the Rolex Explorer II Black Dial, Omega UPO, Tag Heuer Link Chrono and Aquaracer and Pam Ferrari 008.
  12. This isn't the first time this has happened to this watch because it was broken once before. I think the rotor was lose but I didn't fix it so I am not sure. Anyway, it runs good and is an ETA so those usually come oiled and ready to go. I wore it all night last night and it died before I woke up, six hours of life. My Rollie and Tags can go much longer then that. Also, when I was getting it going to wear it, it wouldn't start, then I unscrewed the crown and it started, very odd. It the movement just beat up or do you think I should get it looked at.
  13. DAMN! Very nice indeed.
  14. My Omega SMP. It was my first real rep and no matter how many more I get, I still love it. No pics though, just got a good camera and haven't had the time yet.
  15. Rollie today
  16. Well I have a Tag Heuer Link Blue and it is an incredible rep. If you have read any of the reviews on this watch then you know how good it is. It really depends on what you want, a chrono or no. The Rollie is a great watch but the only one on your list that's not a 7750. If you do end up wanting a Link let me know via PM, I have one for sale. Good luck.
  17. That VC is gorgeous.
  18. Cant use it normally, but when I use my UK proxy it works fine.
  19. The link doesn't work. But mostly, all POs are the same from all dealers and they are fairly accurate, no major flaws.
  20. I haven't read or seen anything. Not one of the favorites I guess.
  21. Looks like somebody likes Rolex
  22. Very nice pictures.
  23. Congrats man.
  24. I just sold a couple of watches and I got some money to spend. I love things that have to do with cars and the Ferrari and the SLR appeal to me most. The SLR is slightly cheaper and I love the way it looks there is something about the Pam. The Breitling is also and option but the good versions are quite costly. Hard decision to make. I have a Rolex Explorer II, Tag Heuer Link and Omega Seamaster Pro right now.
  25. To the other dial which you said was too dark.
