  1. Where you say??? Forums such as watchuseek and others. I have seen autos for $950.
  2. Reps are great, but I have had issues with them breaking and that drove me away a bit. However, I would buy a rep over a $5,000 plus gen. I can't see spending over, say $5,000 for a gen when the rep is just as good. Gens that are below that mark, like the speedy, smp and so on are well worth it. In fact, I just sold all three of my reps for a gen smp. Like everybody said though, just a different mentally, emotionally and so on.
  3. A GMT II, SMP and now this...you have fine collection.
  4. That is really sharp. I am not an Armani watch guy, I prefer their clothes, but that as is very nice. As far as the site goes, it seems ok. They have decent credibility at the bottom and a real address. While you never safe buying a gen online, this seems ok.
  5. That Aston Martin DBS watch is pretty good, the Rolex Daytona.
  6. Most people use Royal Mail to USPS and label it a gift, watch parts or time keeping instrument. Always worked for me.
  7. I was looking at the BCE and the Blackbird awhile go and went with the BCE. I made a mistake, get the Blackbird.
  8. It's like 8 o'clock on Monday...but that's ok.
  9. Very nice collection, love the Speedy.
  10. Losing the tab on my BCE. I am trying to sell the thing but people think I am scamming them when I say I will pay the tab and have it sent to their house. Also, buying a rep of lowcostreplicas
  11. If it actually told time then it would be amazing, but still very nice.
  12. I am going to agree with Lani on the Cellini. I saw the Cellini Prince at Jareds a while ago and it was stunning. $14,000 for it and they don't make a rep of it but wow.
  13. Very nice write up and welcome to the world of posting. Reps are a great thing to collect and can help you find the right gen or just be something to hold on too and build a collection. Amazing collection you had there.
  14. Trying to mod a Planet Ocean. That didn't work at all.
  15. you know, if you wanted to know what version it was you could have asked. It is a V3. This dial is black with the silver subdials. This watch has the correct date font as well as the "tick" on the 10. It is a very accurate version. Also gen bezels are $600 or so. Best to buy a rep one or a used gen if you really want to replace the bezel. Next time, feel free to ask.
  16. I am going to try and say what I want to say but if it doesn't make sense I'm sorry, I'm sure how to phrase this. I want to get a Gen Speedmaster or Seamaster and I have four reps that I would sell in order to make this happen. Now, I don't want to lose one watch if the others don't sell, so in order to make sure they all sell I was thinking about accepting offers but only requesting the money and shipping if I get offers on all of them, not just two or three. These are the four -- Rolex Explorer II Swiss ETA, Noob version, serviced this year -- Omega Seamaster Pro -- the one that is no longer made -- Breitling Chronomat Evolution -- serviced this year -- Tag Heuer SLR Rubber strap I also have a wooden watch box that holds six watches that was around 200. I hope this all made sense.
  17. Well, a guy on rep geek was looking for a new pearl, so we combined to buy a rep bezel.
  18. Saturn news http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-32892-Akron-Sports-Car-Examiner~y2010m2d15-GM-to-offer-Saturn-owners-2000
  19. In need the 15 tab on the bezel. If you can find someone that sells them then let me know. All I have found are the gens which are 600. Could buy a new one for that.
  20. One of the stubs on the bezel of my BCE has fallen off. I have no idea where it went too because it is so small. Does anybody know where I can get a replacement bezel or stub thing? Thank You Merc
