Got a really sweet deal locally, but not sure if I should jump on it or not. The style looks nice, but I hope I don't have to spend a lot of $$ on new batteries from Ebel in the future. I was told the movement comes out from the top of the watch. Any thoughts on this?

BCE franken on gen rubber for tonight and tomorrow maybe.

The painted top on the hands are not too even (maybe just the picture), thus I suspect it's a rep/franken. If I'm wrong, sorry, not much of an expert with Tag.

Josh's site What do you guys think of this? I know it has sunken dw, but the domed crystal is said to be sapphire (note, not synthetic sapphire). Has this watch been out for a very long time?

Just bought one from another guy on RWI. Over all quality is ok. Better than most and worse then few. I thought the white dial means white, but it's more silver than white, which is still pretty nice. One thing I have noticed though, I see the bezel is not as tight to the case. It seems to me the black gasket could have made for better fit. Ideally I think then the caseback screws are tight, the bezel and caseback should tightly hug the watch case more. I wonder if anyone has this issue fixed.

The diamonds are pretty convincing to me. I've never thought I would like something like this, but as it turned out I do. The diamonds give pretty good contrast to the dial. The dial is very well made as well (better all other v2 and v3 have seen). I'm not sure if this is still being made. I bought mine from another member on RWI.

Just got this v2. By far it has the best bezel I have seen on a BCE, better fitting, tight and smooth. As you see below, it's a v2 with Asian font. I think this one puts an end on my BCE collection.

I wish he accepts Paypal, but he doesn't. I wish the hands on the safari are similar to the ones on the A7750 version, but they are not (don't know how much they will bother me though).

I know the safari model has wrong looking hands but the black theme looks decent.

Guys, In addition to Safari, I have my eyes on an automatic jumbo (the newer one with second hand and ETA 2824). Has anyone owned one? How is the quality? Anything that's not good about it? I'm particularly interested in the white dial version. Thanks!

One of the reason I prefer v2 is because it fits gen bezel better. If you are not planning on installing gen bezel, v3 should be just fine. Just make sure when you buy one, get the one called v2 with corrected dw. That's the v3 we are talking about. The v3 on the dealer site is actually v4.

I've compared my modded one (with gen dial) and a gen, gen is still better.

Here are two of mine BCE. Just recently bought another v2, can't wait to receive it! Both of these two below has gen dial, lumed hands and gen bezel tabs. The white dial also has gen dw and bezel. The white dial is a v2 and the black dial is a v3.

My gen 45 PO uses 2500C movement. This movement is not 28.8k bph. It's more 21.6k. If the 42 also runs on the same movement, then it's an obvious tell.

DW replacement is pretty simple. Any watch maker (most of them anyway) should be able to do it. Contact Smidsy from RWI if you are looking for any gen dw. I bought one from him last year. Another way of getting a dw with Breitling font is buying a broken watch with correct font and use it as your donor. Just post a WTB ad. Normally a broken v3 BCE unmodified head only around $100-120 shipped here.
