  1. After owing this watch for the last several days, these are my thoughts of the watch as a quality time keeper (this is not a gen vs rep comparison). Positives: Case, dial and AR coating on the sapphire crystal The case is very nicely finished. It definitely feels high quality. No sharp edges. It has nice presence on my wrist. It wears slightly large compare to my other 44mm Pam. I think this is due to its 45mm case size, lighter colored dial, deeper rehalt and the shape of the lugs. The engraving on the caseback looks nice. It would be great if the engraving can be a bit deeper, especially the horse, but it's not too bad. When I slide my finger over it, it feels smooth. The dial is very well made. I'm not sure it has the same shade of yellow as gen, but looks very nice. The highly polished numerals are very clean and shinny. The AR coating is pretty good out of the box. I personally don't think the crystal needs to be recoated. Negatives: Installation of the hands The watch's large hands are not installed perfectly parallel to the dial on this watch. I think they were installed like this to provide more clearance, so they could go over the sub dials. The hands will need to be reinstalled, perhaps with a set of taller wheels (hour, minute, etc). Overall, again, it's a good watch. Mod worthy. I know I will keep mine for a very long time. Questions: 1. Where can I find a set of taller hour, minute and second wheels? Will the ETA wheels fit onto a A7750? 2. Can an ETA 7750 be installed in this watch to work with the existing modifications of moving the minute counter from 12 to 3? Thanks for reading! Cougaree
  2. I can't bid on it. Does it mean it's not available for US buyers?
  3. I just received my Ferrari, the sub dials look like are in the dial.
  4. http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/80-high-resolution-images-jacob-74534.html?t=74534 Yes! All the screws are real! I particularly like the black dial version!
  5. Mine didn't have these problems. As far as the overall quality goes, I think mine is about 7.5 out of 10. 10 being very high quality. On mine, I wish the minute markers and bracelet can be better finished.
  6. I was told it had the most expensive dial in the history of rep making.
  7. This is an old photo, but I'm wearing mine today.
  8. What are the 0-120 markers for? What about the crown thing on the left? Helium escape?
  9. I seriously don't mind a review from either one of you. Truthfully, I wonder if the series screws on the lugs are real. If not, then I will like it a bit less.
  10. Thanks for the review! Your watch looks great!
  11. Guys, My 6.75 has pretty short crown tube, which I only need to give it one turn to screw the crown down. This is not good in my opinion. It kind of reminds me of UPO, nice watch with short crown tube. Does anyone know what I should do to improve it? Where I can find parts, etc. At this point, I care less about how accurate it is. Thank you for your help!
  12. By the way, even the Serie Special is 6-9-12 configuration, the dw is sunken, unless you can get yourself one of those earlier model I believe.
  13. As far as I know, the date window is in wrong location. The window on the gen is more closer to the edges.
  14. Do the ETA 2824-2 second, minute and hour wheels interchangeable with ETA 2892-A2? Thanks!
  15. Guys, I have done some movement swapping before. Mainly on ETA 2824-2 movement. My experience is that with this particular movement, I often find myself in need of taller minute, second and hour wheels. I hope someone can tell me whether is the same case for 2892-A2 movements. Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated! I'm thinking about swapping an ETA 2824-2 movement (in need to service) with a new ETA 2892-A2 movement for my Cartier Santos 100 ultimate. Thanks!
  16. Thanks! Not sure if the sub dials are sit on or in the dial. I think sit on is more likely.
  17. Thanks bud! We'll see how it goes.
