  1. What do you get if you cross an Omega SMP (general case style and bezel shape), Omega PO (dial markers), newer style SOSF (second hand arrow), Rolex Sub (magnifier) and Ulysee Nardin Marine Diver (bezel patterns)? You get a Tag 500M! Although mine is blue (off with color), it's still a super sweet watch. Thanks for the review, it prompted me getting one! Thanks Nikki!
  2. Careful. Bad watchmaker can still damage the new hands. The watchmaker will have to take the movement out first, which is no big deal. Good luck!
  3. Watch received! It's very beautiful. Thanks a lot buddy!!!

  4. I have bought things from Tony, he is reliable. Tony's price is lower than Joshua's, but he has more limited selection.
  5. This one is what's I'm thinking. http://www.asian7750.com/cn/product_show.asp?big_pid=&ps_id=172&P_id=1634&ti=
  6. Guys, Any thoughts? I use to dislike them, now they start grow on me. I do like the diver chrono and some of the classic ones. What about the titanium ones? Ones with date and three sub dials? I'm thinking I can install ETA 7750 in the three sub dial ones easily. Thanks!
  7. I would buy 2008 SA, not 2009 version though. The 2008 version is v2 and 2009 is v3 I believe. The v3 has two-piece case which I don't like, although it looks in better quality.
  8. Between the two, I have to say white SA is more accurate. This is because the sosf dial is nearly impossible to rep accurately.
  9. Black and white one is more interesting than the others I think.
  10. I'm big fan of the fish, but I won't judge until I see wrist shots
  11. Can I assume the 2846 is the same movement beating in automatic Swatch watch? Thanks!
  12. For some reason I hated the regular Noobmariner, but absolutely love the sub c. Nice shot, enjoy!
  13. This is what I have. Thanks! Will a gen dial for Rolex 16800, 16610 be appropriate for this watch?
  14. A 21J watch I bought two years ago is still running strong. I think you should get a 21J Noobmariner for start from Narika. Then if you still want another watch, a chunkier one, get a Breitling Skyland v2.
  15. Thanks guys! The one I got has broken crown, so I'm going to replace it with gen. Will gen dial fit this watch? What do you mean by correct hour hand? Something wrong?
  16. Guys, Submariners are generally not my thing, but recently I start liking the ceramic sub I got from a trade. My plan is getting BK mod on the crystal gasket and dw first, then install gen tube and crown. Are there anything else I can do on this watch? The cgs doesn't seem too large. Do I still need to have them shaved? Will the watch fit gen dial and crystal? Thanks for your help and expertise!
  17. No trouble changing it. You will have to unscrew the lug bars to get them off. Make sure you use the correct size screw driver, otherwise you can strip the screw head.
  18. Hey man, Your watch looks sweet! Could you please tell me if the bezel is tight to turn and how many clicks it has. Thanks! C
  19. Thanks! I would give AD a call if I were you. Your Santos chrono has slightly wider lug width, so you may have to specify it's a chrono. Good luck! Let me know how it goes!
  20. I bought my straps here (got lucky). Mine comes with ETA 2824-2 as well, but I feel like the factory uses old movements... Mine doesn't have good PR sometimes.
  21. Thanks buddy! Sounds pretty complicate
  22. Thanks guys! Yes, it's Kevlar strap. Here is a wrist shot. By the way, has anyone does ETA 2892 upgrade on this watch? I wonder if the stock minute and second wheels are tall enough for the dial.
  23. As you all know, I'm more of a Breitling guy. It's just recently I somewhat interested in Rolleis. Kind of weird because I'd never thought I would. I currently have two Rolex from trade. One is a Noob ceramic sub (m serial) and another is a ceramic two tone GMT (v serial). The rehault looks different on these two watch, with the GMT to be a bit deeper looking. Is that normal, is it what it should be as more accurate rep? I'm thinking about shaving the crown guards while having gen crown installed, but i don't know if it necessary (for the m serial or v serial) and how. Do the watchmaker do it for me or? I just can't find any threads giving me a good info on it. If you can find it somewhere, I'd be very appreciate it! The vintage Rolleis are kind of interesting too. I'm having my eyes on a Puretime Comex Sub and a sub with very tall acrylic crystal. Any thoughts on those? I'm not planning on mod too much on those. Maybe a gen crown install or gen dial if the price is right. My main collection is still Breitling. Thanks!
