  1. You will need proper tools like hand remover, screw drivers, dial protector, case opener and nice set of twizers. Another word of advise. Pull the crown all the way out, as if you are setting the time before removing the stem. Otherwise, you will be restrict the keyless left and right. Speaking from my own personal experience. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you'd better send your watch to a watchmaker.
  2. Nice! Can't wait to receive mine and do a review on it!
  3. Search "eta 2824-2 wheel" on the bay. You should be looking for hour wheel, minute wheel (or cannon pinion) and second wheel in h4 height. The seller from Thailand is pretty good. I always buy mine from him.
  4. Some stores here have that too, but most don't. The thing is most stores here sell cheap crap so they can make most bucks on. The stuff they sell are made to throw away, rather than for repair. It's a problem. Also the crystal on the watch is rectangular and it's curved, so I don't think anybody would have one in stock
  5. I had contacted them from their website, so far no response. My friend got it from someone else, so no idea where it came from. I called one of their listed dealers, I was told they would send their watches out to a local watch repair shop.
  6. I mean the watch has no serial nor model numbers, uses plastic spacer with quartz movement.
  7. Thanks for the suggestion. Believe or not, this watch brand is one of those cheap kind, and they don't even have their service dept. on their website.
  8. Guys, My friend was trying to replace battery on a Furla watch (see below), and he accidentally broke the crystal. The watch either needs to be replaced exactly or the crystal needs to be replaced. Any way I can find a replacement watch or crystal? $50 is the maximum he would like to spend. Thanks!
  9. Thank you for the tip! I will request him to check it before going any further with QA.
  10. Thanks Red! I am split second away from pulling the trigger!
  11. I'm not sure which model has more accurate sub dial hands, yours or mine. They are certainly different.
  12. What does the model number say on the caseback? My guess it is A17xxx. If so, I believe yours are V1. I forgot to mention the date window on yours is more gen like (nice and big) than mine.
  13. Guys, I've tried to search our forum, but only can find a review on DLC Cartier Santos 100. Does anyone know where the reviews for SS Santoa 100 are (if there are any)? Thanks!
  14. I don't think it will cause any issues. I think you can hand wind A7750 (experts, please chime in!).
  15. One watch of mine has the same problem. I suspect the stem got cut short when the watch was made, so when the crown is pushed in, the winding still doesn't quite get disengaged. Because of this, I bought a set of three 7750 stems. I haven't played around with them yet though. If you need one, just let me know. I guess one way to verify my hypothesis is to take the movement out of the case and then push in the existing stem and see if the crown winds the watch or not. Without taking the movement out of the case, you can also try to push in the crown and rotate it counter clock wise rotation for couple of turns and see if that disengage the winding before turning clock wise to screw down the crown.
