  1. To swap for an ETA 2824-2, you will also need a movement holder. I don't think the extestimg movement holder for the Asian movement will work.
  2. You may be better off with the Swiss version because the fitting of the dial and hands to the movement. However, sinve you may or may not like the watch once you receive it, so buying a cheapo first makes perfect sense. To fully franken the cheapo you will need to order hands and dial. I would also order a gen bezel. You will need to order a Swiss movement with taller pinion and movement holder. Crown and tube may not be as necessary depends on how well they are made on the rep.
  3. I have confirmed with Joshua that this watch takes gen bezel. I'm pretty sure it will take gen dial and hands. However, if you are planning to get a $128 one and upgrade, you may want to figure out where you can source a movement retaining ring because it won't fit onto a Swiss ETA movement. Further more you may also need to upgrade the Swiss movement with taller cannon pinion and hour and second wheels. I see I can still order gen parts from Ofrei website, but I'm not sure if he can still order them from Omega now. Any experience with this?
  4. Since the case is the same, this is what I'm thinking... If the watch is good, ultimately buy all three styles: Two Lite and one Full version. This way, if I like one of the lite versions better, I can simply swap the movement and movement holder. I would start buying one lite version first and examine its build quality. If it passes my standard, then I will go on and order the other two.
  5. There were one pair sold for less than $200 new on the bay. Man, I really wish I got those...
  6. Here is a better look at the pearl. I found this picture from RWI. Since I already have a 45 PO, I'm thinking about the one with diamond bezel. If I don't like the diamond bezel, I can always replace it with a gen bezel, besides the diamond bezel looks like having better pearl... The dw looks a little bit sunken for reason...
  7. Haven't worn this forever, yesterday and today I'm wearing this.
  8. Thanks, but I'm not a RG member . Could you copy and paste the post for me please?
  9. Hi there, Can someone tell me if the following numbers are correct? Model numbers: 2201.50 2209.50 Case number: 168.1651 Thanks!
  10. Sweet! Can't wait! Thanks! I'm interested to see how well the pearl is.
  11. No one seems receiving theirs yet, but if it's that good (as good as the dealer says it is), I think we should call it POU So UPO is for the 45mm one and POU is for the 42mm one. What do you think?
  12. What I want is the brand new gen Breitling SOSF with white dial currently selling in our local store for $2300. I've been looking at it for days...
  13. It happened with my previous order. My credit card company declined the payment because it's a foreign bank trying to charge me. I ended up paying Joshua via Paypal in Singapore dollars. The transaction worked well.
  14. I was told the ultimate accepts gen bezel. That's more than great for me!
  15. Sometimes you can't feel it. How is the power reserve?
  16. I hope the crown tube is not an issue on this one!
  17. Two tone should be pretty cool. Good luck!
  18. My Alienware is fast but I don't recommend it because its bult quality is just ok. I had an ASUS before, it's a solid laptop.
  19. @Ryaku, how come the hour markers on yours are more white than mine? Mine is a little greenish...
  20. I own both 2255.80 and 2264.50 genuine. Both has AR, but on the 2255.80 the AR is more apparent comparatively for some reason. On 2264.50, it doesn't look like having any AR at all. Weird...
  21. Just make sure you don't end up like Charlie Sheen... or wait... if you wear a rep, you may not be so mad
  22. Sorry to hear that Marty Please stay positive.
