  1. I have never owned a Seamaster chrono, but UPO is decent if you don't mind the happy feet on the dial logo and pearl and short crown tube thread.

If you are going to mod your watch later, I think you may want to consider Seamaster chrono more because gen parts for this watch are cheap and easy to find used. Just my two cents.

    Good luck!

  2. So much for getting up early... I must be crazy thinking I could get 500gb portable harddrive (for watch photos of course) for $40. I didn't get it. Bought a 4gb flashdrive for $8 instead.

Apple store had a lot of people. I ended up with a 32gb iPod touch 4th gen for $270.

What did you get? (sorry for another useless thread)

    Hi guy,

I just got a Santos Ultimate with SS bracelet. Just like yours, the crystal on the crown is lighter blue in color. Which one do you think it's more accurate? Joshua doesn't sell ones with SS bracelet, I wonder if there are more than one factory making these watches... Any thoughts?

  4. I believe not all sosf rep have AR coated glass. The cheaper ones don't.

I went to kayak with mine, and got into water three times, and no problem. I don't know what's the exact WR rating my watch has though.

There are two Swiss fish I know of, maybe two versions of Asian fish.

The price is about right I think, for an Asian fish. The catch is you cannot mount Swiss movement later. The watch can't be franken'd neither..

  5. Thanks for the tip! The problem with gen straps is the cost. I can spend $350+ on a gen SS bracelet, but on a croc strap, I will have to think twice. I'm sure they are nice and worth every penny and it's just me.

I got my Santos 100 today from Joshua. I have to say it's very good. The watch itself has very simple design, which really helps on the accuracy of the rep. The case has very very good bushed finish. The sapphire crystal is great and so as the curved dial. The bezel screws came not tightened, so i had to given them another quarter turn each. No big deal. The box on the other hand, is not so much. However, it is a nice bonus.

Let's just say, the watch is so good that I bought my second one already... :)

  6. You will need proper tools like hand remover, screw drivers, dial protector, case opener and nice set of twizers. Another word of advise. Pull the crown all the way out, as if you are setting the time before removing the stem. Otherwise, you will be restrict the keyless left and right. Speaking from my own personal experience. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you'd better send your watch to a watchmaker.
