Yes Mike....[censored] happpens. I could have picked one up pre-owned at a very good price. But I thought about It for a few days and then It was gone. If another opportunity comes up I will do my best to get one.

This is a common problem with these. I'll doupt if you will see it when the watch is on your wrist.

I have had many Avengers and have not seen any that looked quite like that. Yes It's true...the sides are not perfectly smooth all the time. I have used my Cape cods to remedy the issue... for the most part anyway.

But If thats not a smuge.. I don't think you are going to be very happy. Good luck.
