  1. I wouldn't bother with sealing the HE valve. I've own a DSSD and Hublot diver both with HE valves and taken them diving to 50ft with zero issues. They performed flawlessly! If you buy from Andrew at trusty time and it says pressure tested believe me it is!

There would be many here....Including myself.... that would disagree. Im happy things have went well for you..so far....but this Is usally the exception...not the rule. Many have purchased reps that were suposed to have been preasure tested and failed while washing the dishes. Yes...even watches from Andrew who happens to be a excellent dealer .

I had mine sealed last week. It's just one point of falure that has been removed. That gives me a piece of mind.

I'm glad you have done well with yours. But I would strongly suggest that anyone seal the HE If you plan on going beyond the pool. Just my opinion of course.

Always a good idea to check out the watch....any watch.

  2. Just lifted my leg to allow my four dogs to have a hearty sniff. They did and promptly keeled over, wheezing and hacking. Guess I ate to many sardines.

I fluffed myself up with Armani Aqua and they sprang back to life as if nothing happened. One can always rely on a canine companion to point you in the right direction.

They don't call dogs "man's best friend" for nothing Eric.

  3. Thanks guys. For the record I wasn't planning on lying, rather "not telling" - "not telling" and "lying" are not the same in my book :-) So it was more a question of, should I tell her out right, or should I tell her if she asks. But I'm sure you're right, why not tell her?

Mike, I'm glad to hear about Andrew. I chose him because of the rave reviews and his enormous selection. I could've gotten a better price at some of the others, but I assume that price and quality go together when it comes to reps as well, and so far he has been great!

Sounds good my friend. I would get a few days of some good old appreciation sex before I told her....can't hurt. :D

  4. My Asian 7750 movements have been fantastic. Very little trouble. If any ay all. If you dont mind a three hand auto the Seawolf Is a excellent choice. It also has a Swiss eta 2836. I love mine and It keeps excellent time. A very well made rep.

If Chronographs are your thing you might want to take a look at the new Skyland. Very nice.

    Good luck. :)

  5. So nice to hear that your father Is doing so much better Eric. Having him live with you sounds like a very good Idea. Just might help renew your relationship with him.

I wish you both the very best Eric. As far as his cane go's....don't forget to duck. ;)

    Best wishes.

  6. Don't exaggerate Mike after all we are the ones wearing counterfeit goods. :D

I'm not denying or exaggerating that fact. The point I was trying to make Is that It's no one's business what we are wearing.. Regardless If It's a $20.000 Rolex or a $300.00 Panerai rep. Just put the watch on your wrist and go about one's own business.

I do understand that some folks Indeed have a difficult time with this simple concept. ;)

  7. But the OP is right, what he is wearing IS a real watch. ;)

Absolutely correct LK. The thing Is....why don't these people mind there own [censored] business? Anyone who would ask someone else If there watch.....Rolex Panerai Breitling etc..If It Is real... Is nothibg but a classless douchebag.

I would personally like to tell these nosey bitches that have an exaggerated sense of their own self Importance to stick there magnificunt genuine whatever up there pompous ass. :)I see this guy In my mind picking his nose and asking...."Is that a real Rolex"? :disguise2: Answer? Go blow your nose [censored]tooth...ever here of kleenex or Puffs? aka bathroom tissue. That greenish hue on his crystal Is most likely not AR :D

  8. Yup :D And i did not mention, that one of those not-well-known brands has a model range named "Replica" as well :DDD When you meet somebody then the conversarion might be like "Heeey... what is that awful thing on your wrist???" "This is is FCUK Replica.". Btw. cool pic maxman. But I do not remember that I sent you my photo already :D

    Dam van...you're looking good. ;).

  9. My heart trully go's out to those who have been traumatized....and In some cases totally and completely devastated. Those last Images of Sandy approaching land were scary as hell. The results even more so.

Best wishes to all those Involved. Terrible situation....just [censored] terrible. :(

  10. "sometimes these storms/hurricanes lose there momentum or turn back Into the sea and lose steam"

Not happening high pressure blocking over Atlantic that is why it is making a left hook into NJ, unusual situation. I am in upper Sussex county NJ generator ready to go so far nothing but a slight increase in wind no rain to speak of.

"Sometimes "these" storms" Not "this" storm. For example... Irene.

  11. Sometimes these storms/hurricanes lose there momentum or turn back Into the sea and lose steam. Indeed that would be the best case scenario. But sometimes they gain strength and leave total devastation behind. Peoples homes/businness and communities as they once new them are gone forever. To that you add the thousands If not millions of lives that might never be the same again. This Sandy is a real nasty [censored] not to be taken lightly....and this thing Is massive.

We are about four hours from the NC coast....so I don't think we will get much damage. Some uprooted trees, minor flooding and power loss Is possible. I just don't have a good feeling about this one guys. I can only hope that I am wrong.

To all those In harms way....be prepared. Caned goods, water, batteries candles etc. Items for emergencies In general. Sandy Is no joke.

    Stay safe my friends.
