  3. I LIKE IT,WOULD GO WITH THE ETA OPTION. CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW
  4. Looks good to me,try to find someone who has the watch and get there opinion. But from what I can see it looks pretty dam good, especially when considering the price, good luck. Mike
  5. I agree 100% $475.00 vs several thousand dollars, small compromise Imo. There should be no unexpected issues with the use of the stopwatch once the movement is serviced. See The Zigmeisters movement reviews. I have many 7750's that have not been serviced yet and still function like they should.
  6. @letter This should help. The ETA and SW are the same movement for the most part, both are swiss made. If you want the movement to look more like the gen then go with the SW,If It dosent matter, then go with the ETA and save yourself $60.00. Mike
  7. I dont know much about Cartiers but I hope it's a gen. Hopefully a new battery will take care of it,good luck.
  8. I dont have the best eye for flaws but that bezel looks pretty good to me. What does catch my eye are the sub dials @the 12&6,they appear to lack the depth of the gen. Overall It looks to be a pretty decent effort.
  9. I have had very few problems with mine.Just remember at some point and time you will have to have It serviced. Overall a good movement, thats been my experence anyway:) Mike
  10. Happy birthday Ken. "gotta learn to party In moderation" know what you men
  11. Hey Pug,good to see ya:)
  12. I came across these two guys a few days ago. Luka Svillic and Stjepar Hauser are Croatian and shread these cellos like I have never witnessed before. Even If the music Is not your cup of tea,got to give props to the considerable talent. I think Kirk would be proud ...PS I do think the dude on the left needs to chill a bit
  13. Dont have a clue how they did this but I like the effect, kewell
  14. Is that real? I know many here are the experts In the field, but Interesting video none the less
  15. I think we can all agree that they wont be able to rep the outstanding workmenship of the gen movement. what I was saying is that they can at least make the movement look decent. Im not that concerned about a part of rep that is not seen, unless of course you take the watch off and show It to folks, and even then. But thats a personal thing,If the rep movement Is unexceptable In your eyes, then that rep is not for you. Im not going to hold my breath but I feel that this new SMPO chrono can be replicated with reasonable success. The liquid metal po Is a stand alone model. This new Omega will have a flat black ceramic bezel or a flat orange aluminum. I dont think that the factories will have that much dificulity with the bezels. Actually I dont see anything preventing them from making a good rep,I could be wrong. I think what you meant to say is,"the movement will suck aesthetically".
  16. "and the movement Will suck"? can you laborate. Are you saying that A7750's suck?...wait for it
  17. It looks like a 088. Im no pam expert but i dont think this Is one of the better versions,I could be wrong. For starters that GMT hand Is the wrong color, should be white/silverish. But a rep dosent have to be perfect for you to enjoy It,so I hope you enjoy It. Mike
