  1. I know that these are heavy watches, but the watch looks good on your wrist. I think It's the weight thats the problem not the size
  2. I havent heard anything bad about him but some say that he Is difficult to contact, thats all I know
  3. I dont think you would have a problem wearing a 44mm Pam,or any other resonably sized watch, just make sure that there on a leather or rubber strap. SS bracelets add a lot weight to a watch.
  4. I think this mesh bracelet looks absolutely fanastic on the Ploprof. Some watches belong on a mesh,Imo this Is one of them, very nice Indeed
  5. Then It has to be a Panerai,Italian bike, Italian watch Take a look at some of the Gino Franco watches, they go for around $250.00,nice Italian sport watches,If you dont mind quartz. Maybe good for ridding your motorcycle, quartz watches have good shock resistance. If It were me and I had a small wrists, I would look at some 40mm Panerais. They are light because of the leather strap. I really dont think you shoud go under 40mm. Most watches under 40mm are womens watches In todays watch market. Thats just my opinion, you should get whatever you are comfortable wearing, good luck mia amico Mike
  6. There Is only one watch for you my friend,Ducati
  7. Welcome to RWG Janek,It's nice to see someone so young getting Into the world of horology There Is a wealth of Infomation here, so pull up a chair, grab a pieogie, and have some fun Mike
  8. I agree that because of the ring around the date window the sdw Is not that noticable. Now that there making a Asian 7753 well that changes everything now dosent It?
  9. I must have watched this video ten or more times over the last three months. I have never noticed any problems with the second hand or the chrono(stopwatch) hand. I watched It a again and I still dont see any Issues with the hands jumping around like a kid at a rave Maybe someone else will jump In with there opinion on the video
  10. Same to you my man, let me know what you think of the Defy video,I feel you will be Impressed
  11. Hey Deniz, just google search zenith Defy. There are only a few videos on this beautiful watch,It will be easy to find, remember WatchcollectorHK
  12. I think It's just the lighting, they got It right the first time, I dont see the factories missing the mat chrono hand on this version
  13. There Is a video on youtube of this rep by watchcollectorHK. Everyone thought Is was a gen until I pointed out that It was rep. It Is one very well made rep, very good quailty. Im ording mine soon, maybe this week
  14. I have to admit that Im really excited about this movement. I love my 250, sunkin dw and all. But this new one seems to address this mayjor flaw. I think I will order the white dialed 251
  15. If It were me I would also go with a G-shock. I would have my doubts about a rep surviving the demands of a busy cheif. I also would not want my watch on a ss bracelet In a cooking enviroment. Im thinking a rubber strap would be best for obvious reasons, easy clean up for one. The G Is a tough timepiece that can give you every function that a busy chief would need. They are also a good looking watch with different color combonations. How about the G-shock for cooking dinner and the Rolex for going out to dinner? Good luck with your search
  16. Welcome to RWG,the best watch community around, rep or gen I found RWG much the same way you did. Spend sometime reading and researching. The Information here Is without a doubt the best that you will find anywhere, have fun Mike
  17. I have always liked the Defey and I will now get one because there just over $300.00 The real reason I think people dont buy the rep Is because they dont care for the design. The gens are still going for between $7000-8000.00,not a cheep watch. I personaly love the design and the different materials that make up the watch, but I did not want to pay around $500.00 for a rep.
  18. Well It all depends, to repair or to service. If you really like a watch you should have It serviced If you dont want to be In the position to repair It. The other thing to look at Is the cost of gen vs rep. Take a UPO, they go for around $300.00, add $250 for a service and you have around $550.00 Invested. With a proper servicing It can last you many years. If you purchase a gen It will set you back about $2.500 or so. I guess It depends on how you look at It,good luck (ps) Does that servicing come with a reach around,If not, look elsewhere
