Thats true John,99.9% of the people you meet will not have a clue about this watch. Most people i know have never heard of UN,Ulysess who? But I understand your disapoinmeant In reguards to the dial color. I only have one white dial rep,Breitling SA. I asked Josh If the dial was white or silver,he said that "It was difinitely white" he was right. I dont why the factories have such a hard time with white/silver dials oh well, thanks again for your review Mike

I dont know very much about vintage collectables but a pocket watch thats over a 120 years old must be of some value. What that value is Im not sure but Im looking foward to seeing some pics. Sounds like a beautiful piece of history

Hey John,thanks for sharing your thoughts,good job I have the black dial version that I really like.The few flaws that the rep has dosent realy bother me at all. Overall I think It's a very well made rep. I try not to get to anal about the Inperfections and enjoy the watch. I can drive myself crazy about the smallest flaws at times. I also noticed that the gens second sub dial has a cut out at the 60 for the pinion. It took me several side by sides to see this. I hope you enjoy your new watch,It's a beauty Mike

These are difficult questions to answer. So I will just tell you what my favorite reps are. My breitling SA blue dial and Raymond Weil Nabucco. I have many nice reps but these two are very accurate and are of very good quality.

Smart move, to damage a gen would be devastating , to damage a rep would be disappointing ,big difference

I would have to say that the UN maxi Is the best rep for the money that I own,excellent replication I do think the gens are grossly over priced for what you get. But I feel that way about many gens. That being said It Is a very nice watch, It has better than average ar and lume and the ss bracelet that came with mine Is also very nice. I soaked mine In mineral oil over night and used some light sandpaper to smooth out the edges,smooth as butter baby The exhibition caseback Is also done very well. The movement Isn't spot on of course but they did a nice job non the less. The bezel Is also nice and tight with steady firm clicks. The 23j movement keeps very good time with the a nice smooth sweeping second hand.let us know what you think of yours when you get It. I really dont think you can buy a better rep for the money,hope this helps Mike
