I have heard that some of the 21j movements can be very good. But with my luck I will probably get one of the cheeper ones that are not so good. Who knows maybe I will get lucky Mike
Well said and spot on It's those little things that annoy us that make this hobby so much fun. If everything was perfect, well It would be a gen, how boring This thread has come alive because there are so many possibilitys. As far as spending $5.00 for lunch, two words, "value menue" although I did have a Whopper Jr the other day, for a buck not bad
I think this was posted about a month ago or so. Actually brings a tear to my eye Im sure some of those officials are now the proud owners of a gen-u-wine Rolex
Those are pics of reps and they look really really good to my eye. I just might take a chance with one of these bad boys. I have no 21j's, these movements any good? Im thinking hit or miss on these cheeper movements
+1, They should have no problem what so ever making a proper Primero. I absolutely love this watch and the heritage that It's associated with, build It and they will come. Mike
Im going to sit this one out and wait for the Swiss ETA version. I will also keep my fingers crossed on the "bezel lock system" being functional. This Is not a bad looking rep for the money. But I just dont feel comfortable wearing a watch that dosent operate as advertised. Cant wait for a review Mike
Im am not saying that the seller is trying to ripp you off, Indeed he might be a great guy and seller. But for me it Is to risky. There have been several members that have been in similar situations and the final result was not good. There are to many things that can go wrong. If you are talking about a small amout of money then the chances are not as great. The figures you are stating are to big a risk Imoh, good luck and proceed with caution Mike
Dam thats really F Up. Im really sorry that you are going through this and wish you the very best possable outcome. I have learned thru similar situations that It's best to purchase expensive or reasonably expensive Items In person, with the help of a certified AD or watchsmith. Again best wishes Mike
