  1. Oh Im sure you were not "entertaining It for a minute" just saying It does seem like the seller Is being quite honest and clear about the band and cassing. It dosent appear that he Is trying to mislead anyone. Mike
  2. Welcome to RWG my bruda RWG Is the most Informative and well rounded "watch" commmunity on the net. They pay me to say that but It's still a pretty nice place If you have any questions, just ask. Mike

  8. One of my favorite reps Is a Breitling Motors T I purchased about a yrear ago, stunning timepiece. I picked It up for around $150.00 brand new, I could not pass on the price. The running secs are at the 9 Instead of the 6, dosent bother me In the least. I have never really considerd a Blancpain FF. But after seeing yours I really want one. Beautiful watch and nice write up, thanks. Mike
  9. Thanks Deniz, I did get the bracelet on but It took a little work. No sanding or filing but one broken springbar tool. This Is the second tool that I have broken In the last six months. I think I will have buy better quailty tools. Mike
  10. Im not much of a modder so I guess the overall quailty Is whats most Important to me. I do like when a rep Is accurate, who dosent? But when I lay down my hard earned mony I like to feel that I at least got my moneys worth. The truth Is I feel that I get much more than my moneys worth on most of my rep purchases. I purchased a Pam111 about a year ago for a little over $100.00 from Watcheden. It's not a bad watch but It dosent have that great ff that my more expensive Pams do. The cg Is cheep looking and It has a mineral crystal thats already scratched. It's difficult for me to like this watch. I dont feel that I got my moneys worth. My first nice rep was a Pam250 and the quailty of that watch Is on completely different level. I have had this discussion with my buddy TeeJay on several ocassions. We agree that there are reps available that are of good quailty that can be had for around the $100.00 mark. The only "main" difference Is the movement. I have a UN with the 25J that I absolutely love. Saphire crystal, good AR decent lume and a very nice ss bracelet. It Is also a excellent time keeper. This Is a rep of very good quailty the you can get for around $150.00 or so. I dont mind spending around $300.00 on a rep If the quailty Is there, this of course Is more about the movement. When you factor In what the gens go for I feel that this Is a no brainer. I also can understand someone buying a cheeper rep and upgrading (mod) the timepieces to bring It closer In line to the gen. I have a not modded a rep yet but i probably will someday. I just need to find that certain watch that I feel Is worth the time and effort and money to do. So my answer Is, perfection Is not my main priority, quailty Is. Mike
  11. +1 I have always stuck with the trusted dealers here at RWG and I have not once had a problem, not serious anyway.
  12. I have a cheep 111 that has a crappy CG, not a good finish. I took a scotch brite pad to It and It turned out pretty nice.
  13. Absolutley magnificant Vacheron Constantin, the oldest watchmaking manifacturer In the world In continuous operation.
  14. All I can add Is that If you have never done It before you might be better off taking It to a watchsmith/repair person. If you dont do It right you can f up your movement. Thats what I've been told anyway, so be careful and good luck Mike
  15. Are they talkin [censored] about are beloved reps again?

  17. I like U-Boats, the only thing holding me back Is the size. I guess If a SA @ 48mm Is wearable then the 50mm Of some U-Boats should be ok. Im thinking If you Include the canteen were talking around 55mm,dam thats alot watch
