I could see that amongst hardcore WIS's, and possibly some hipster >30 year olds. The hipster's will probably just download the Breitling iPhone application though.
I think, downturn continuing, the trend will be more towards the Movado, Rado, Hamilton, Tissot's etc. for the population at large who actually care enough to buy a ~nice~ watch.
Only downside to going vintage for econimic reasons is-- how much more will you need to spend to get the old movements serviced on top of the selling price. My AD is getting $500-600 to service a 1570.
Interesting to think about though.

Ahhh, these little nuances add "patina" to the forum. Kinda like one of Nanuq's vintage pieces.

I was hoping to get Chris to roll this into the 14060 project. (Even though 501 are correct for 14060, IF he is going to the factory, why not do a little mix and match on the order)
Any idea on the price? It might be in our best interest to have 5 people buy 4 sets each...Then resell if need be.
Chris?

You wont need DWs for 14060 Chris and will a clarks no date crystal fit a V3 since the 14060 is naturally smaller and the euromariner V3 is of a 16610?
Good question, but I believe any Gen parts will need to be 16610 based. Something to keep in mind when modding. (i.e. buy a gen insert for 16610, Clarks non-Cyclops for 16610). Right Chris?

Yikes. I actually had a good experience with Canon CS USA back in 2006 on a 3 year old camera with bad ccd. They wound up RMAing a 3yr old camera and sending me the current model. Went from a 230 to a 630 series. It was part of a recall however, phone conversation less than 5 minutes.
In the last year however, I have seen a decline in Canon quality in everything from printers to cameras. Seems like unless you are a Mark 5 shooter, the rest of the line is withering a bit.
Canon WAS the go to camera, now Nikon and Panasonic seem to be on top of their game.

Put me down, provisionally, for the 2813 version. This watch would normally have came with low-beat movement, correct?
You are thinking of the 551x slow beat. IIRC all 14060's are 28.8.

V3-case with lugholes + 93150 + endlinks (what is the correct nr??) + 14060 dial + mbk crystal (has the smallest etched crown at 6 on the crystal).
According to TRR Appendix I, and TRF - 501B is correct.
Late A-Series have been reported with 593 in some cases.
-or- If you are going to the factory, now might also be a good time to get 585's that could be used for those of us with SeaDweller 1665 projects.
(See Freddy333's post about the desire for these)

I am with Lani on using the flat rate express envelopes.
I also read, I think a FedEX memo, that if the total package weight is under 16oz you will have little to no customs issues. I think that was UK specific. YMMV.![:whistling:](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_whistling.gif)
