Hi Fellfell, I am not sure where to find a good quality bezel insert. I have been looking for a genuine bezel insert myself but have not found one yet. As for the bracelet, have you compared your bracelet to a genuine Rolex bracelet? They are both very light with a poor feel. The modern MBW bracelet is heavier and while some people do prefer it, it is not light and flimsy like the genuine bracelet. You may be able to polish, oil and clean your bracelet to make it fit like you want.

I have been milling a hole through the existing area and installing a 3mm titanium valve look-alike "button" to fill in where the valve area once was. Which would be most preferred, a correct size replacement valve or a correct proportioned replacement valve?

I'm happy with either as long as it's 24mm Ti and looks good

By adding matte or shiney varnish over the scratched areas?

Worse case, send it to The Zigmeister and he can reassemble

Chances are, my only friend with a genuine LV sitting around is my friend Ubi and it is probably sitting in his parts bin just waiting to be put together

Unfortunately, I have not had good luck finding one at all. RSC would quote me a price but not sell it to me without the serial number of the watch it would be put on.

Thanks for the education, Ubi. You are right, of course. I saw the 9 marker and too thought something was up with it. So I looked at my MBW insert, saw it looked sort of the same and thought, "hmm, maybe it is supposed to look like that." I should have been more skeptical. For reference, assuming RSC would sell you a new one, they quoted me $120 - $150 for it.
