Great shot B! Crown is also a gen Pre-V. If you look closely you can see the concentric rings in the subdial, they aren't visible to the naked eye. -
Getting really close now... 201A case arrives!

The watch turned out brilliantly, we have allot of great guys helping us in creating builds that until recently were impossible to accomplish. I tried to take some pics last night when I got home from work but it was just too dark. I will do my best to get some good pics up Friday. Until then here is a iphone pic taken in the car.

The perfect 201/A strap is available again!

Lol, destro! The lack of rounded dropping shoulders on the case is also odd. -
Thanks for the kind words guys I am very proud of her! Original Scope, loving the COMEX and DRSD! The 064 build you have is very convinsing when laid side by side or on the wrist. It isn't until you pick them both up and study carefully that you see the difference, most notably on the underside of the watch where the gen has a slight rise or base for the caseback.

Many of you were surprised to see I was selling my prized 064C LaBomba. There was a reason behind this sale and here it is. This new 064C build project is made entirely of the correct genuine parts for a 064C Submersible Special Edition. There is not a single rep part in this build (down to the movement screws). BUT FIRST……. This is what I got in trade from member Scope for the 064C (Plus a wad of cash on my side). Gen 1520 movement Rolex COMEX 5515 and Gen movement 1570 Rolex DRSD 1665. Both have hand shaped Yuki casees, Yuki dial and hands, gen crowns and crown tubes. Now, Intoducing FrankenGen 064C! OFFICIENE PANNERAI PAM 064C Special Edition – Luminor Submersible 1000m 44mm Build List: • Movement: Gen Panerai OP III • Dial: Gen Panerai 064 Dial • Hands: Gen Tritium 064/087 hands • Datewheel: Gen Panerai • Case: Gen Panerai 064/087 • Bezel: Gen Panerai 064 Bezel • Xstall: Gen Panerai • Crown Guard: Gen Panerai • Crown: Gen Panerai • Caseback: Gen Panerai (Correct OP# Shadow) Gen Panerai OPIII movement The LaBomba PAMily! Teaser……… FrankenGen I with FrankenGen II?

Gulp......Just WOW!!! -
With the exception of the case which is very poorly done (as stated above) I would say the rest of the watch is not too bad. There is currently no well repped titanium Panerai submersibles. Also, just so you are aware, there has been much talk about an ultimate 187 rep (47mm stainless steel) showing up some time in the near future but so far it hasn't panned out.

The problem with the Davidsen subs is the case. There are major problems with the profile of the lugs, the shape of the case and the position of the stem. If you care about accuracy, look elsewhere. However, if your more interested in just having a great looking sub both the 106 & 170 are very attractive options. If your strictly looking for accuracy, the 199 Ultimate is probably your best bet. It just doesn't have the wrist presence of the 106/170. The Arktos models are also pretty accurate, with minimal work and theyre great looking subs to boot.

That is a very nice pic, and the watch deserves a big

Nice pair of Honpo's you got there! Agreed w0lf is a great guy, always willing to share his knowledge.

3 questions; 1. Are the lugs just like the 177 (fat)? 2. How does the xstal compare to the 177? 3. Pics of strap notch please?

Is this still a go? Haven't seen anything here in quite awhile -
Anybody ever try the WSO990 Crystal?
SERGEANT_AT_ARMS replied to mjmurphy926's topic in The Panerai Area
It's normal for a low quality saphire. You wont see this in a Big Matt or gen crystal. -
Quite stunning Miles! I've come back to look at this several times now, wear it well and congrats!
