  1. My tracking status is now 'out for delivery', which would normally mean I'll get it tomorrow (Monday) but with UK ParcelForce, who knows!
  2. Mine's looking like arriving on Monday too. It got held up "AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGES" last night and now it's in the way to the delivery depot. 'Til then I'll have to make do with my this horrible mess of a watch!
  3. Mine's at London Heathrow Airport at the moment (according to the tracking anyway). Should hopefully arrive with me tomorrow. It's a GW (I know -- bad dial!), but I also have an MBW GWSD, with which I'll do a comparison. If this rep's as good as they claim. All I'll need to do is trim the CGs, swap dials with my MBW and I'll be away. I'll see that when I believe it!
  4. Yes. That's the email address I used. Maybe my emails got lost in spam.
  5. I've sent a couple of emails to Domenico -- I really need help with a dead MBW 1665 -- and so far no reply. Is he still on holiday, or is there a right and wrong way to approach him?
  6. Thanks for the speedy reply. I think it's competent watchmaker time -- the only reason I'm even considering doing it myself is I'm so g'damned impatient -- I have to remember that none of the correct tools + impatient = disaster. BTW -- The bezel insert looks like it's painted aluminium (I'm not 100% sure) but it certainly isn't acrylic.
  7. I have a gen Tudor 79260 chrono with a black bezel and I want to change it to a steel one. Rolex won't do it for me as they don't allow franken-watches -- changing the bezel would make it a 79280 -- and as that won't match the case number on my watch, to them that makes it franken -- even though it would contain no aftermarket parts. I've managed to source a gen steel bezel but can't pop the original bezel off. Do I need special tools or is it a case of sliding something under there? Or should I just take it to a watchmaker to save scratching the hell out of my watch?
  8. I just received my MBK/MBW 1665 GWSD which came with a 93150 hollow mid links bracelet. The bracelet it much lighter and tinnier than the 93250 hollow mid links bracelet on my gen 16610 -- the links are quite a lot thinner, which makes it feel a bit cheap and nasty. Having never handled a gen vintage 1665 I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that. The watch itself is amazing, though -- just going through a light modding process (new bezel insert, crown guard shaving, edge rounding etc.). I'll post pics when it's done.
  9. I've got an MBW 1665 GWSD on its way to me from Eurotimez (ordered it over a month ago). I'll post pics -- if I ever receive it.
  10. You might struggle with the DSSD bracelet on the GMTII case. The DSSD is a much thicker watch so, even if you widen the lugs to 21mm, the holes won't line up. You'd be better off brushing the centre links on the GMTII bracelet and just changing the clasp over to the DSSD one, which should fit without modification.
  11. That's a nice watch. Makes you wonder why they're struggling to get the bezel right on the DSSD. Maybe it's because there was no "genuine used as sample" available!
  12. Wow! The whole watch only cost me $900 -- I'd be better off selling it and buying an SS bezel version. Thanks for the info, though.
  13. I'm looking for an SS bezel for my Tudor Chrono -- it currently has a black bezel -- Rolex won't sell me one because "The Bezel has to match the case number". I'd love to know how you sourced both...
