  1. Well, I just got back from the post office, and I just have to put up a few pics of the 22A I just received from Milanogeek in Italy... He was great to deal with and the watch arrived in seemingly no time at all!! <_<

In addition to the watch, he's sent me 3 beautiful straps he made himself... I've put my OEM A series coramid on it for now, but I will try these vintage style straps later...

Anyway, the watch is beautiful all around, everything works as it should... I will get some tweaking done to the dial down the track a bit, but for now, it's not going to be leaving my wrist for the foreseeable future... I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Thanks L and RWG!!! :thumbsupsmileyanim: :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  2. Yes, strap quality is pretty pathetic for many of the makers out there, except to name a few I've bought many from...

    • Dirk (I think the very best for Panerai)
    • Mario Paci (Great straps, unfortunately at E's d1ckhead prices)
    • Europelli (Drew Watson has great straps at good prices, and a super nice guy)
    • Aaron HK Tan makes beautiful custom ordered straps

I had a look at this page after Reg's comment about gun leather... nice products here:

I might even get me a few sharkskin belts after that :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Comparatively, strap prices are so high for the amount of material and labor, but I guess the argument is that it's a limited market.

  3. I wonder where Switzerland would rank without all the Nazi gold they took and used for their own after the War. You can still detect the dental filling materials from millions of murdered Europeans in the gold from Switzerland.

That was a long, LONG time ago you know... :whistling:

It's sentiments like these that perpetuate the insanity. If we could all just move on, there'd be a lot less hate in the world.
