35 or 36 mm?
Or 35.5??
Thanks!
:sss:

Ouch Rob, I was just to ask you again about the danger of removing the PR module from an ETA 2893, that you already told about in the old-and-now-forever(?)-gone RWG1.
Well, no problem, I'll either wait or have my local watchsmith take the plunge. Have a great summer, all the best!!!

unfortunately $100+ CDN is too much for me for a datewheel...
??????
What is CDN???

* Differences only detectable by most skilled jewelers
I LOVE THAT PART!!!!! hahahaha..
Yes, and as for 2nd my vote goes to:
* Precise unidirectional turning bezel

I can't wear a 44mm Plus sized clown watch to work and expect to be taken seriously.
Are you sure you are taken seriously even by wearing a different watch?

Hey sssurfer I found you a gold mine of bad Pams
Really thanks, Ken!
...Even if some credits go to phault too...
They also have the Urina and the Menstruation models!!
And the thinner crowns I've ever seen!
On a 2nd look no tourbillon, though.
@phault: be sure we are not laughing at you, but at that site. Great find!
Welcome to you!

the Swiss cartels have a "rep problem" because the greedy bastards created it for themselves. If Uncle Rollie started selling subs at $1000 each, the rep industry would evaporate, but they cannot do that can they - that would be to admit that they screwed everyone they sold that watch to previously.
Wow, good point!
-
Not bad at all. A fantasy watch, but good looking -- and with a good crown too.
Even not badly overpriced, if there is really a ETA 7753 inside.
I wonder about the backside.

Do a search for posts with 'finepics' and 'relume' as keywords, and you'll see how good azgjav's suggestion is...
I had Finepics reluming my PAM028, and I couldn't be more satisfied.
-
Go figure if I would ever win a raffle...
Congrats to the winners, and a big thanks to Admin for the watch and the excitement!
-
yes you are right, but you will have only one watch.... and so you got 5
I think the same too.
And what about the excitement of modding a rep?
-
Blue dial hands down.

SCAM SITE BUT VERY WELL DONE
Very well done?
With no PAMs?!?

Sorry to read what you have passed, my friend, and glad that you are better now.
My most heartfelt wishes for your full and prompt recovery.

I am late so my vote does not count, but I still want to say that your GF looks gorgeous even with that white mess on her face.
There are better ways to hide a face with any photo retouch program. I shall do it for you for free -- just send me her pictures.

Really sorry, lord.
I hope there is still at least a little hope to get it back.

UPDATE
Ok, guys, here are the results of your suggestions.
Watchprince dropped their expedition cost down to $11.35.
Don's straps are 4mm thick.
So --
I ordered from both them.
I'll take you responsible for my bankrupt.

As a last chance, a good watchsmith might be able to make hands fit on different pins -- with the help of a reamer, in case.
Additionally, my watchsmith also told me that he would prefer to fit a too narrow hand on a large pin than a too large hole on a thin pin.
No pun intended.

The first was Jethro Tull in Rome, 1971.
But the one that striked me most was Van Der Graaf Generator, 01 DEC 75 Italy, Rome
...where the band had their gear stolen.
-
Listening right now? Van Der Graaf Generator.
Some minutes before: Marillion.
Even before: Bach's The Art og Fugue (but in a unique chamber music Russian edition).
After? Mmmm.... maybe U2... or the Who, perhaps...

We use to say congrats to the man and best wishes to the bride.
But on my small experience of a 20 years marriage I would now feel more appropriate to congrat with the lady, and to give best wishes to the man...
Oh, well, congrats and best wishes to both you!
Great choice about watch and strap, too.
-
Thanks all, folks!
My source was Watchprince.
And I made a mistake, shipping fee from him was 63 USD, not 52!
But EU sites for Hirsch straps proved way more expensive than Watchprince.
VAT included, their costs are about twice than Watchprince discounted offers.
Watchband.de revealed as the most expensive.
Watchband.biz a little lesser.
Considering shipping fees, Watchprince and Watchband.biz are almost head-to-head.
I thought Watchprince was not supposed to talk about shipping costs. I'll give it a try.
Similarly, I am going to ask Don about his straps' thickness.
Really thank you all again for your great info. You helped me a lot.
-
Hi sssurfer,
Hirsch straps are very good quality, the Liberty is for sure the most
waterproofed leather strap you will find
Problem with this strap is that the holes are too small for a pre-V buckle.
And in general you will have problems to fit a 4.5 -5 mm strap with a panerai deployant.
Hirsch is a german company and I´m sure you will find an online store within europe
that does not charge you with such a high shipping fee.
Regards
Thanks, Tescardo. Great info! Expecially that on Hirsh being a german company!
If I only would be able to find it on google now...
EDIT
Now I see that my previous search could have likely been compromised by mispelling. 'Hirsh' instead of 'Hirsch'. Googleing like a mad now...
