We're just anxiously awaiting the arrival... it's been in the works for over a year now .. I thought it was forgotten by the maker.. but it is here.. more exciting vintages are due out toward the end of the year.. affordable and good I should say..it's movement is an Asian.. but that is not a real costly mod.. but if it can accept genuine parts then the sky's the limit.. .. and if not .. you still have an affordable rep. it has it's niche as not everyone is into over a thou. to buy and mod a vintage.. it will allow you to evolve with your hobby.. so if you want to add genuine parts later you are able to.. the steel is denser and has a different sheen as I understand it.. Although the gen crystal is not as invisible as chiefs, it is a genuine.. and some like the blue hue ... the eta movement has been keeping great time for me.. I can't remember have to adjust the time.. it was serviced by ZM though.. that makes a huge difference.. Your on a roll with the Omega's Red !!! AC Lani

A long time ago.. some would call 'fake" as outrageously inaccurate.. and "Replication" as more accurate to the genuine piece.... semantics really.. imo.. depends which side of the fence your on.. customs or AD's would not deviate from calling them a "Fake".. with a strong inflection on the word !!! if you look at the $$'s worth of the "words" it makes a difference.. Outside of Our community people would not understand the passion most have for timepieces in general.. So most of the knowledgeable horologist here build "Frankens" still not the real deal but closer to anything else.. So it is what it is.. neither genuine nor fake.. but a replication of the real deal.. still not genuine in any respect.. and at times a labour of pure love and enjoyment.. A Porsche 356B fiberglass shell with a VW or even a real twin carb Porsche engine with Solex or Zenith carbs is still not a genuine.. but enthusiast.. would call them a "replication"...of the real deal.. All this is also semantics.. cause in the end .. it's still not genuine.. but for me it gives joy.. so whatever you want to call it.. I just wouldn't call someone else's rep a fake, to offend .. this can be debated ad infinitum ..politically correct or not.. dun matter in the end.. whatever makes you happy.. AC Lani

we're awaiting a new line of vintages from Josh and Andrew.. it's better than the ones from them in the past and is compatible to accept genuine parts.. MBK is king of the hill.. but these should be interesting if they are equal to MBK.. like MBK they would still needs mods .. but they are priced around 200 usd .. I will do a side by side with the MBK model.. looking forward to it.. !! AC Lani

I have 2 dials J.... the one on the left is slightly damaged.. (font under the date window).. if I decide not to use it .. it's yours..if your a supporter... AC Lani edit add it would be an easy fix with a ulta fine paint brush..

I sourced a gen Tudor Prince Date dial and hands.. so I decided to swap it with for the dial and hands in the Daytona.. which has the movement issues.. so I'll use a eta 7750 and .. dunno the red hands on the Daytona would look kinda cool ??? Would a clarks sub crystal fit on the case of the Daytona rep. ?? here's some pics.. I forgot to check the colour of the dw.. may need a black one.. it'll use a case of one of my Daytona's that died.. the bezel marking may not be altogether accurate .. but the dial was inexpensive and the eta was bought for a very good price.. we'll see..
