  5. Thanks siesta nikon.. nikor 60mm macro lens ..manual adjust (best way) that's it.. natural lighting .. it's challenging but fun when you use the indirect natural light to highlight the area your detailing .. I use a dark t-shirt to darken areas from the light and use slivers of window light to accent other areas. then I process with manipulating the lighting in the image.. it's not photoshop or auto adjust.. it takes time and the manipulating of all the different spectrum's of lighting.. .. without using the colour settings.. this is after playing with the white light and exposure.. for one good pic I may take 6 or 7 shots.. it is very time consuming..but I enjoy it (at times) You just gotta kinda play with everything as I don't read any "how to" I'm lazy that way.. Here's one I took with very little lighting so I could bring out the curve in the crystal to distort the dial..I just used a long exposure AC lani

  12. the A7750 is a good movement if serviced properly.. but the eta 7750 is what it is.. from assembly to the different shape of teeth in the gears.. so say you spend 150 usd for good servicing of your A7750 or you could spend 350 to 360 for a eta 7750 .. I have several eta 7750 movements, that I haven't used yet.. I normally buy them if I can get a good price on them.. I have spent 450 on one but that one is wrapped in the eta factory seal package... economically servicing the A7750 is the way to go.. it all depends on how much you value and more importantly .. how much wrist time your going to give the watch...imo..I put the eta 7750's in the watches I deem excellent.. ie.. Breitling. black steel.... IWC CD .. Slevin...etc. Conversly.. I still have the old 7750's (before the A7750's came out) going strong.. a lot of times you will either wind it manually too much and damage the movement or not be aware of the postion of the hands when changing the DD wheels..and also damage the movement.
  13. Oren .. ya just gotta learn to . . . . . Duck..... . . .
  14. As a standard instead of exception to the rule.. I usually have my A7750's serviced soon after I receive them ... either that or swap it for an eta 7750 ... if your "lucky" you'll receive a 7750 that is better than others.. Sad to say it is the nature of our hobby.... You need to take care on winding it is the PR is exhausted ... changing the day-date.. etc. R
  15. I hit a pole once with my 4x4 pickup .. it was a short pole and it damaged my rear bumper.. other than that I have not had a problem with them.. A lot of NFL lineman have Polish last names.. they are genetically very large .. but I have trouble pronouncing their last names..

  17. thank you the dial has been lumed to perfection (SL) the crown is OEM.. modded to fit the CG has been sanded for a better fit to the case(ends) **the movement has been fully serviced.. (disassembled) and timed ** this is the topic that I find funny, when members are selling their watches some I see note that the watch has been serviced,.. thus tacking on the price of servicing.. For one.... how do you prove it has actually been serviced??? unless it was done by our in house modders ... Two... how can you get back what you paid for in servicing when it's been a year since it's been serviced ?? That's like saying I serviced my car last year .. I'm selling it and want to charge you for that service.. my point is,.. always question this if you are looking to purchase from another member.. AC Lani
