not re-lume in the modern sense.. but would a lume to make the colour look more vintage or aged be what I'm looking for?? and thank you for the direction on the crown guards .. see some of the experienced members with the correct shape .. will research more.. thanks again

waiting for mine to arrive .. the font is sharper ,... I'll choose between the MBW bezel or the one being shipped as to which is the better of the 2.. if the MBW looks better, then I'll just use the bezel insert (the font is sharper more toward the genuine than the MBW IMO) .. finally got a genuine crown, .. and i already have the genuine crystal.. I'll leave the date ring for now,.. does the CG need to be modded on the MBW ??? with a ziggy relume ... can't wait to get it to Canada...

look well at another member who is selling watches at unbelievable prices.. this is what appears to be factory pics ... looks familiar although i doubt the factory dealer is giving his consent to the pics being used.. this was my question earlier in the week.. and other members voiced their displeasure at the inconsistancies of the service and bad defects in the watches..that only got resolved because they posted their concerns..

thanks for the info on the PR sub SC.... couldn't discern from the pic of the genuine .. do you think it would take close scrutiny or is it that obvious??... add on.. yup it's that obvious.. and agree for the price.. wonder how durable this asian movement is going to be though.. IMO a good genuine AR from CT or k2222 would make this replica look much, much better..and yes the 001 number is really a stretch..

this is true.. about the IWC looking bigger than 44 mm.. the reason IMO being that the dial itself is huge where as other 44 mm brands .. it is the case that makes up more of the dimension of the watch comparison of a BB so you can see what I mean.. I'll add this comparison photo to my post .. meant to do a comparison then got side tracked thanks for reminding me.. .... see what I mean the dial on the A. is about 37 mm or so, where as the dial itself on the BB is 30 mm... ergo the visual effect of the IWC being bigger than it really is... BTW my wrist size vary from 7.5 to 8" depending on diet .. gym time .. water intake etc. .. pretty girls passing

Sub dial power reserve .. concentric rings within the sub .. same as genuine.. the lettering looks good .. again too close to call Over all lettering is .. good edit: the sub PR dial as noted by spookycord is smaller and lower on the replica .. you can consider this the "major" flaw in the dial the font on the genuine DW is bolder .. i don't know if the DW is fixable on this .. don't know if I'd want to spend the money on it is the bigger question... ..The lume out of the box is very good.. longevity of course lacking but regardless .. I've been schooled to measure from the case at 9 to the crown .. if you measure from 3 to 9 on the case then yes it is 44..

The diameter is 46 mm the AR is not high grade but it is double AR,.. the crystal is synthetic engraving on the case back .. really detailed but leaves the edges very sharp dial.(need to find the genuine pic).. the colour is a deep chocolate.. satin finished ; concentric rings in the PR sub ... the colour is what gets me.. weather it's close to the genuine I do not know but it is just a very nice colour regardless Lume surprisingly excellent.. really very good for the price of this rep Strap.. really a throw away .. good for the buckle though add on.. the PR is a working PR ..collectors seem to have gotten the diameter incorrect it is a 46 as my collector confirmed before it was shipped but the collector site Say's 44 you really cannot go wrong for the price on this piece any other angles for pics .. let me know

@marty.. looking good .. live strong and wear it well @ laz would this be the correct spacing for the CG and Crown combo ?? I'm waiting on my genuine crown,.. bezel (after market but better font than what is on Mine) .. I have the genuine crystal.. it is very difficult to keep in the box.. this is getting a lot of wrist time.. i can only imagine after the mods are done thanx lani

some business started resuming on the 15 or 16 with some parcels said to "start" going out "from" the 17th .. but that may mean they were collected on the 17th .. only time will tell

If memory serves me.. Ziggy gave a thumbs up to vaccum, be careful not to use anyone that just say's they can do mods.. i have had a watch literally demolished and had to get a new dial and hands .. Ziggy tried to restore it but it was pretty far gone .. DO NOT.. i say this with all sincerity and not anger... use "flavor flav".. for any modding ... i post this on the board for all to see ... I will not hide the fact that members should be advised .... there are some here that look at members as easy pickings ... with mods you need to be patient ... i say this from experience...although flav does not use this forum for his advertising anymore .. he is active on the other forums .. i do not believe he is allowed to solicit here ... but you could check with the admin team on this one ... and some of the bad work that is posted sure has his sigature work on it.. the only modder I would consider if Ziggy is booked.... is vacuum .. especially for sausage lume i believe he is on the east coast... but i have been trying to find his profile .. maybe someone can point us in his direction

FYI... got a tracking number on the 16th and the parcel is still not in the system.. so with that said .. and imagine the number of pacrcels to be processed after the CNY holiday.. it will be awhile until things get back on track ... so we hurry up and wait...

the Valjoux 7750 date wheel.. dont know which colour numerals you need . they have them both..

the TT in black is the best in my opinion.. the double AR is awesome with the dark dial and the numeral version is the one to get in it.. the white to me looks better in SS as the AR does not really show as well with the white dial .. so to optimize the AR black IMHO is the way to go .... sorry for the poor lighting in the Black dial.. but both are Double AR .. the black will accent it much more though ..... .....the concentric rings in the numeral version are more pronounced .. the gold seems to diminish the rings in the sub dial where IMO the SS let's it come out so to speak .. so to confuse yuou even more the black is not as noticable (concentric rings) as the white and the white to me looks better in the SS version.. .. .... ... this is the same piece as in your pic. it is D-AR .. white just does not show as well as with the SOSF too.. and you know how good it's AR is.. so the black dial IMO for the numeral TT and the white for the SS .. the design in the dial with the rings in the sub dials differ.. your choice.. BTW.. Lello still has the DW for these.. i have the correct DW in my white dial now if you want updated pics let me know.. Edit... the dial on the white is very good compared to the genuine.. especially the concentric rings .. the colour of white changes in different lighting.. as does the genuine. it is at times champagne and in direct light very crisp white..

It has been brought to my attention from the Admin Team that members have been inquiring as to weather I am being financially "compensated" for the reps I have.. i don't know weather members are referring to my new release write ups or they think I am of celebrity status to where collectors would pay me to wear their reps.. Or if this is in retaliation of me commenting on the fact that too many posts were about "promoting" collectors .. IMO that should be in the dealers section and not all over threads that are not immediately connected with collectors. Or in retaliation by those who do accept compensation for "whatever" Let me begin by stating that I have never nor will I ever start to ask for, nor accept any compensation for posting write ups .. or reviews .... there are members (myself not included) that have the ability IMO to put up reviews in periodicals... they are that good... when i read something like Road and Track for example the "review" is to make the product sooo attractive ... with the purpose to "sell" or market that product... i laugh at some of the ratings in cigar mags.. some of the worst smokes are rated in the high 90's .. then you notice they have the most ad's in that magazine and spend the most money... nuff said.. I do not post this type of write up.. nor do i ever name my collector on the board .... what you get are bare facts and not "super model" photo's .. i was thinking of getting a tent set up .. lights.. the works .. then thought about what I really wanted to accomplish.. and that is to get plain facts to the members and let them decide for themselves .. or just be an information post to those wondering about the new releases not necessarily about buying one..I am not a pro at these reviews and am still learning about watches.. timepieces etc. I am not here to make money nor exploit the forum or the membership in any way shape or form earlier last year .. i sent straps to a member .. i was not going to use (brand new) we agreed that instead of paying me that he use the money to get supporter status or make a donation to the forum.. weather he did or not is not my business anymore.. i did my part .. it was based on the"Honour system" Last year during the Holiday's a member needed parts and could not source them.. my collector supplied them.. i told him honestly it was for another party.. he did not charge me so i did not charge in return.. but asked that a small amount be donated to the homeless shelter in the members area.. I send things from Hawaii all over the world for friends to enjoy.. unconditionally !!! so I do it not for money nor favours .. "just because"... is good enough for me.. especially if it will bring happiness to a child... My collector sent me a Xmas gift... well having enough reps to go a minimum of 3 months without wearing the same rep i can see him appreciating my business ... i get comped at restaurants etc. for patronizing the establishment.... but one Xmas gift does not make it financial compensation ... if you have spent $$$$$$$ with your collector and he does not appreciate it.. well nuff said.. not saying I expected anything ... i did not .. and was very surprised by the gesture... Myself ... I am in a business that pay's well.. but has many challenges with time ... and manpower .. and i worked my way from the bottom and now my area is number 1 in the state.. credit my workers and teamwork and God's grace for that... I am going on 18 years "clean and sober" no pain meds even after knee surgery .. no nyquil remedies for the freebie highs ... asprin will have to do... I ran a lot of illegal activities in my younger day's and a lot of what i do is to "make ammends" to those i can't My daughter if she were alive would be entering kindergaten this year...I don't say this for sympathy.. i don't feel sorry for myself at all!!!! do i miss her .. everyday I live ... but that is life .. there is alway's someone with more of a burden than me .. or you.. I work 7 day's a week .. 356 day's a year... my workers and customers depend on me ... my accountant say's I am too generous with the workers .. but my needs and my wants.. (reps) are taken care of.. more than that would be greed... I support my own hobby .. and if you can find a post where i promote or defend my collector please let me know I patronize vendors that .... provide fast communication .... and great customer service .. and after purchase service, there have been times that the replacement rep has been in the mail and to me 4 day's after i recieved the defective one,.. before I return the bad one I have a replacement... and parts are a biggy for me .. and that's why in my post you will see no prices and i will say to check with your respective collectors for prices .. my strap vendor gives me great discounts... for my business over the year .. i even get extra portions at the juice bar every morning .. i believe this is because i go there 7 day's a week So now you know more about me than most people ...... if anyone thinks that I am being paid to post such plain reviews .. you are hallucinating ... BIG TIME... My choice for the 253 would be the deployment gator .. black... I had to colour in the white thread .. but after trying all different shades of hide ..I settled on the alligator.. IMO really adds to the dial on this one..
