no doubt ,.. this is the post on the Paul Picot.......http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=65299....... and now I am just speculating .. but this and the HBB rep seem like they are from the same AR maker, this would be the same genuine factory that the genuines use.... there is a vast difference in quality from the other so called Double AR.. i would imagine like any product there are good.. and then there is "top shelf" Oder one of these and you can have one first hand

the genuine font is just a bit thicker... i think Lello can do a better job with the DW if we had at least 15 orders (i believe) .. I think i'll email and ask.. just out of curiosity.. .. if the eta DW is spot on then no need to bother ... what do U think?

I believe the black dial/silver subs wa the 07 new colour release.. soon to be on another repicated watch. @kenmasters.. no doubt, the colours are incredibly accurate.. just wish they got the font on the vintage dial correct.. but man cannot have everything..but still fun to try..

what i know is the case set came out after the original piece.. and there are makers who are using the genuine AR factory.. same one that does AR for the genuine companies.. weather it's AR tint or other I am not the expert.. it does have the oily film to it but you are correct it is not as good as the HBB or Paul Picot that just came out.. hopefully more makers will use the factory that did these

should these be d-ar or is that just a personal choice?.. it would look awesome but the specs on the genuine call for just anti-reflective coat... is the genuine doubled?? it would definately change the overall look too tired to do any detail stuff.. and there are far more members qualified to go into detail.. but thanks for the acknowledgement DD

The Omega Speedmaster Date has arrived. 1. white dial with black sub dials 2. 07 color release ... black dial with white sub dials 3. Laquer White and Red Vintage Logo Omega domed crystal different shots of dials to show concentric ring differences.. inner rings check out .. for more detail for a little more detail in the rings Edit: I stated earlier that the font on the subs were incorrect.. this is not so.. the sub dial font is very accurate.. this was replicated from the genuine timepiece... sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused serial numbers on underside of lug .. numbers on the underside of bracelet comparison in size with PO.. the inner rings on the sub dials seem more noticable on the Vintage Red.. then the white and finally the black is not really noticed. .. so if your into the "rings" as a visual.. then take notice of the difference when the light bounces off the dial..meaning the difference in the definition in the subs and dial itself due to the color and the rings the date font is smaller than the genuine but the black with white numerals appears to "look" thicker on some numerals crystal is single AR... being used to screw down crowns it was a bit tedious to pull out the crown.. We'll see what type of power reserve this timepiece has.. but i would say. it definately needs a trip to ziggy.. i wonder if Ofrei has the genuine dils for this model?/ lordrasta.. if you see this can u comment??.... definately needs the genuine crown .. the speedmaster date may not have the appeal of some other Omega chrono's .. but I'll take accuracy to a chrono with dead subs... IMHO.. One of the Omrega pro's will do this better.. this is just a preview and pics of the different dials for you all there is the silver and black dials remaining thanks, lanikai for a 40 mm watch it has very good weight.. I would have to say the Panda dials are looking really good .. the all silver must be awesome...

Well.. i will edit the strap portion of the post... as i have been wearing the PP this morning and a very nice fragrance has been coming form the watch... yup ,.. the strap is vanilla scented just like the genuine... go figure..

at one point and time weren't "all" collectors selling the old 7750 movements ????

So is it safe to assume that the "copies" of the original reps are inferior in movement and other specs and is not being made by the makers that are producing the reps that are being sold by "our collectors" ?? and those that sell these .. are they stating the fact that they are coming from alternate makers.. and not the makers of the originally marketed Replications.. with the specified movements?

WOW.. if (Pug) you are reffering to the 3717 pilot.. i better open the back tomorrow to confirm I got the correct movement..

yes,.. the maker is supposedly copying the original Rep and the movement is not the same .. the movement that is in the original rep comes from a factory that is "state" owned and they will not endorse contraband.. is the state run factory better ?? that is the question @slay... did not mean to offend but I am not an "expert' and to pass judgement on such things would be conjecture on my part.. just saying that this is a copy of a copy.. for your information

all the new releases are "single AR" as is the genuines.. it is a error on the collectors specs... it is the same as the 092 Arktos that was released last year.

yes .. what is odd is the other models that are replicated have the correct font.. and this is from the same maker.. both models are in Honolulu.. and was processed this morning .. but won't be at my mail center until Monday ... I am really anxious to see the ..Laquered white Red Vintage Logo Omega rep... Edit 1/9/08 .... the font in the sub dials is the correct font the Replicated model is in fact the correct version of the genuine
