yes, as i mentioned there ws a national competition that my partner was entered in and a bodybuilder died from lasix . on stage.. 100 stregnth athletes were polled and asked if they took a pill that would enable them to win everything, but would take a great amount of years off their lives... almost all said they would For winning .. or as i look at it for a Trophy.. i just thank God I got out of that mind set and am ok with myself .. just obsessed with other things now...oh like watches

I rather like running a business with the mind set that "second place is the first to lose" and never be satisfied with a win.. there's alway's room for improvement.. alway's never be satisfied.. and for the record I was asked to take things in College.. there were those who did. and were stronger and recovered faster.. but while I wanted to .. i never did.. i was coached in... work hard, God, Family Team... not alway's in that order.. we went to lanai and picked pineapple all summer and trained all summer ... then came back for 2 a day's I am in no way a proponent for steroids in sports but rather the fact that athletes are manipulated (not talking of Bonds) into situations .. and then thown under the bus.... OK .. so i feel I need to make my statement regarding all the Drama and threats of taking away records etc. etc. etc. With the revelation of the "Mitchell Report" and naming of names ( still no conclusive proof ) and the general population yelling "cheaters" hears fuel for the proverbial FIRE Steroids.. SuSU...Vitamin B... what ever you want to call it was developed during WWII when survivors of concentration camps were so emancipated they needed drugs to restore their strength and appetite.. hence the US government further developed Anabolic and Androgenic Chemicals for muscle recovery.. And what steroids do is move water from outside the muscle cell to inside.. (in layman's terms) Ok, so the "Rocket" and a host of others have taken the heat off of Barry Bonds.. not a bad thing IMHO, Baseball surely knew of these hypodermic training methods.. geezz the Eastern Europeans used to kick our butts long ago when women looked like well.. " you want to win?..you willing to do it for the team?".. and now they are acting like .. SHOCK AND AWE "we had no idea'.. YEAH RIGHT. I have an on going debate with a buddy of mine.. my stance is that you pay for a very skilled form of entertainment.. and you don't pay thousands of dollars to see in the park home runs.. or a 250 lb. lineman... or an athlete that runs 5.0 .. 40's.. ENTERTAINMENT..... he Say's it's the American Sport .. you play for the honour.. he never played a organized sport in his life... imagine being hurt and a shot will numb the pain so you could play and this one game was the most important to the team and to you .. for the rest of your life you will remember... no matter what the price you pay ??? it is about not letting down your team ... the guy that you bled with all summer during daily doubles.. etc ..etc.. we put so much emphasis on winning at any cost... from a young age... and society wants their team their city their school to win... the New York Yankees have no end to their wallet.. is this "cheating" to be able to buy the best talent??... Winning and Entertainment .. and of course least we forget $$$$$$$$$$ .. bonuses.. endorsements.... Jobs on the line So hind site being 20/20 .. everyone can say now .. oooh cheat.. but baseball was dying.. then the supplements appear and boom.. crowds start coming back records start being broken corporate money appears .. TV etc etc...everyone starts prospering.. but now everyone that was involved in reaping the rewards are finding scape goats.. ahhh Corporate America .. gotta love it...NOT We want to see freaks.. not that there are not athletes that are natural God given.. but if players around you were taking something to improve strength .. speed.. you would be inclined to do the same or be left behind... Steroids don't improve fast twitch muscles..hand eye coordination.... athleticism... it deteriorates bone ..... you are more prone to joint injury.. roid rage.. that's a biggy.. so with all this in evidence they will crucify those that have given us years of enjoyment.. bash them daily in the news.... dissapoint children who made these guy's their heroes.. that is what is most distressing of all.. the kids.. Yet they cannot tell us why our gas prices are inflated ... or what really happened to Tony Saprano...so our latest sacrificial lambs of Coporate America are the player's that lived "the Dream" and gave us years of "gloryed Entertainment".. take away their medals .. their records.. but will corperate America give back the money or the commisioner give back his Post or his Salary...???? when they do everything to commercialize sports? .. American football in England.. think they're trying to get a piece of the EU pie.. for $$$$$ ... Who really has created the need for Athletes to do whatever it takes to win?? Contracts .. Clauses.. bonus incentives???? PERFORMANCE!!!! IF IT WEREN'T ABOUT WINNING OR LOOSING ... THEN WHY DO WE KEEP SCORE...... My MBW 1680 had light scratches and "swirls" when i recieved it either that or I put it there wiping the pexi cover... there is a polish used to remove swirls from auto paint after micro-compounding is done... the only draw back is i have to purchase enough where it would last me a few months in the body shop.. so imagine how much i would use just on a few watches.. don't want it to sit and deteriorate... it did remove the fine web scratches from the pexi. normally you would use a eurathane sponge wheel (buffing) but a polishing cloth .. the ones you get at the eye glass shop worked.. I'm not selling it but anyone interested in taking some of this? .. doubt I could send it to Eu as hazmat would not allow it even an ounce.. respond on this thread please don't need PM's Lanikai

FX these are the different colours and the white Asian without AR and the swiss double AR .. the collectors were temporarily out of stock as the difficulty now is for the maker to source enough movements .. so the movement may be a different model but not so much an upgrade as availability .. to my understanding.. The White swiss.. was recieve yesterday the Black .. Blue were from the original stock Asian; ... Swiss closer font difference.. double AR; no AR.. although the left is double AR on the white dials they are barely noticable,.. but on the black and the blue they are awesome

yes, I agree with you on k2222 Ar's they are incredible.. no worries ray.. only trying to post so members would be better equipped to make choices, not to create debate over collectors.. don't need it really... everyone has their own choice or choices of collectors.. no need for any further "update" as it is what it is, double AR as far as my eye's can see ..in person.... seems like lately posting new releases has become a stage for flaming collectors as a "mine is better than yours" not directed at you ray...... so for that reason i will retire this thread of any further updates thanks lani

Sorry Raymond.. I was running out of the house 1:30 am this morning and missed the last part of your post.. yes PT Angus is correct however this as I have said last month when i got the 3717-2 white dial .. the crystal was supposed to be double AR, this is what I was told by my collector after i recieved it... so .. when the double AR was completed he advised me and sent me a case set for the white dial and the finished double Ar on the blue dial.. the initial stock was single AR... as I said this is the corrected 2nd stock of 3717-2 double AR.. it's up to the collectors to sort it out with the makers... not my place to say who to buy from.. just proofing what i have gotten..

Ok Ray .. will do, later today..... lighting was not good for these pics,..it was late in the day ... and yes there is a big difference compare the white dial to the case set.. Your HBB is a totally flat crystal, the IWC is curved it will make a difference in the light refraction.. the flat crystal will always show the AR more.. IMO

the 3717-2 Laureus is out... the first release was erroneous with single AR.. this is the corrected version and as promised by my collector a case set with double AR to correct the first 3717-2 white dial sent to me in error. Blue dial is an Azure (sic) blue .. the concentric circles in the sub dials are barely noticeable,, very fine but obvious in direct sunlight.. the genuine does not come with a bracelet.. and IMO would not suit the dial ... the strap is gator grain blue ... HK here i come.. this colour dial is not for everyone.. just the obsessed.. ahh ... the white seems to be the better enhanced of the two... Again the minute hand at least is about 1mm too long .. fixable... Sorry for what seems to be dust.. it is actually pollen from the mango tree blooming ... rushed with these pics as i promised Raymond i would get them up for him ASAP... it is double AR from my collector anyway... Let the pics speak for themselves .. your choice please excuse the lack of attention.. forgot to set the white dial it's been in the case .. ergo the day date is not set .. Yes, told by USPS that registered for watches is fine but the USPS can only insure up to 400 usd... don't want to argue with US postal.. less they go "postal on u" .... i have been told differing procedures at seperate times ie. commercial customs declaration is for watches.. to dispell all specultion you can call Home land Security without giving out all the informtion pertaining to the sender - reciever.. it is not illegal so suggest you do it that way so you don't have to pay unwanted duty.. fed-ex and UPS use their own customs broker.. that is better than USPS with the knowledge I have.. but still better to ask Home land .. not postalservioce they have varying definitions depending who you talk to.. ie.
