  1. \ the BB is 43.70 to be exact the Navitimer GMT is 46 which version are you putting up for your review? I have a question? how many Breitling reps have you purchase? .. How familiar are you with replications? if you ever have someone come up to you with a pair of calipers.... Run.... or if you are trying to resell it as genuine then you may have a problem.. but this is the usual replication flaw.. after all it is a Rep. ... we all strive for the perfect Rep.. it is a hobby for me and most other members. How many Replications do you own? Not meaning to sound condescending.. but if you are here to learn then ask questions.. Andrew... is one member to ask... go to the review section if you are a supporter if not subscribe and check it out You should really ask questions.. because if someone is trying to sell you a BB for 500 USD? then you are being super punked. and the genuine diameter of a BB is 43.70 to be exact...http://www.breitling.com/en/...........<click there for the tech info from Breitling Cheers, (been wanting to say that for the lonest.. but brings back memories of my ex wife ) Lanikai
  2. It is double, after checking I thought I would stand corrected .... but the film on the outside of the crystal leads me to believe it is in fact a Double AR.. that being said,.. it is a very weak double if that's possible.. no where near the Breitlings double AR.. this is a question we may want to ask K222 or Chieftang.. if it's posssible to have a double AR in variable stregnths. Hope that helps ..as i stated earlier .. on a scale of 1-10 i would say the first one I got was a....6 ... but then keep in mind my peice was probably manufactured on a Monday... bad factory quality on Monday's and friday's .. now let's see if the replacement fairs any better.. since i think it's safe to assume that there may have been multiple "runs" with the crystal at different times.. and if this is the case maybe the double AR will be more prominent on different production dates.. just my 2cents though excuse my manners Euno.. BIG CONGRATS ON THE FINAL ARRIVAL OF YOUR BABY
  3. Thank you Euno those are some great shots ... glad to know that the mis aligned markers were just a couple f the first ones .. or for others sake i hope so.. thanks again Lani
  4. TTk .. that's a beaut ... do you have the TI's avengers with the open 4 at the 9 on the bezel?
  5. I got mine a year ago from perfect clones.. Joshua.. but you may have to source a swiss 7750 after purchase on your own.. the marker on the bezel,... i stand to be corrected,... but i believe should be an "open " four not a closed (4) like this ... it is HUGE and wieghs accordingly... if you want pics let me know ....i have my batteries on the charger at the moment..
  6. apparently the first batch to leave had a problem, as evident by the first two to be posted.. the collector checked and the other Aquatimers with the maker don't have a problem with the 12 markers.. so if Eunos and Pugs come out ok and then my second AT to arrive (it was said to have been checked)... is aligned properly then at least we know it was just a cross eyed factory worker.. maybe the same one that put on the Omega logo with a right angle
  7. great job UB ... that dial motivated me .... for the first time buffing it really looks like new LIVE STRONG AND WEAR IT WELL
  8. another one waiting in line to see the Zig... don't give up hope... ziggy can make it stronger ... faster ... yada...yada...yada.... YODA
  9. nice pics CD.. no worries better the hand fell of from the get go... gets me another one...should be here this week.. think if you could combine the maker of the CD and the Aquatimer.. we may have a real super rep then... someday. CONGRATS BRA
  10. Monday GMT II .... retro Tuesday ... got my BB back with better tabs... remember the first ones 3717... not scheduled yet ..
  11. Awesome background to your UPO Drew... wanna go there man..
  12. this may give you a better idea of the font... ..MAGNIFIC
  13. here are the shots UB.. correct silver hands even though some pics appear to be black on the collectors site.. it's the reflection off the background that make them appear black... I've polished the clasp with the dremel numerous times.. and finished with a hand applied finish.. i like it clean without swirls when it hits the daylight at different angles.. but andrew has done this also numerous times and it loks like Roexman also has options so what ever you do looks good.. i just prefer aluminium paste ... for me it does not fly all over the place .. easier to control for me.. see silver hands on this although they look black in the collectors pics the clasp has been dremeled numerous times along with the rest of the bracelet.. still have to get some wet sand paper and take out the unfinished factory gouges.. see by the top
  14. Wow.. you paid that much.. need negotiating skills bra
  15. let's just keep things in perspective.... have you bought this watch or did I... i did.. and ergo i choose to deal with it in a menner that is apropo to the business relationship that i have with my collector... he apologized profusely and sent out the replacement at once. that's as much as anyone can do.. is it not.. Or should i go on a tangine and ruin my day and post the fact that this "rep" is of bad quality ... were you around this business when the chronos were only "functioning" and not working chronos?.. By standing up you are reffering to your "hate" this and that tantrum?.. Or don't you get the fact that this was drop shipped ( a whole seperate issue .. i know) ... I do not mean to use the old line of, "get a genuine".. but you should look at the reality of the situation... i have recieved defective items before and the collectors that don't honour their product simply do not get my money anymore .. My collector.. has "NEVER" not honoured his sale... he does not make the watch and when it goes out it is for all intent and purposes working... Yes the photos are sad... but the captions are not... why don't you show us your collection and tell ME how you would have handled this? DEMAND WHAT.. I am getting a replacement ... NO? I'm still smiling .. this is a win win situation for me and my collector. So, sonny boy.. why don't you spend some of your money and LEARN how to handle things rather than kicking and crying about if I handled this things would get better... I did handle things in 1 minute ... i will have my aquatimer by the end of the week... i don't think that's anything to cry over.. and i have the rest of lifes challenges that outwiegh your directive to do something about it.. when it already has been handled quietly and effectively .. without all your drama.....thanks.. @ Euno...... yes it comes from the same factory..... and i would not worry about yours being the same you have been around long enough to know that this will happen from time to time and that is why it is important if you buy a lot of reps to have a collector that will back up his sale..instead of going for the Blue light special... slash it sale but it does not seem (from the strap and crown and stem) that it comes from the same maker as the cousteau..but you and Pugs will give it a good going over ..NO DOUBT.
  16. UB you can use as much pressure with the cloth for finishing as you want
  17. after the dremel wipe the bracelet with a cloth then put polish just a little on the undershirt and polish in small areas .. circular motion .. wax on wax off ... Mr. Miyagi style, this is the "finishing" the toothbrish is not for polishing.. it is to take the residue of the paste off, in the cracks, don't leave any behind, when it dry's it will turn white and look like sh*t .. just for taking the excess polish out of the cracks.(toothbrush) no need to tape the crystal just stay away from the bezel, you'll turn the stain finish into highly polished SS like the bracelet.. i polish the bezel with a cloth and very little paste to make the satin finish shinny .. but still stay satin .. ub just stay away from the bezel bud no need to use cap code after this, this will be all you need .. the shine may blind you while driving .. if you use cape code..wash the area with warm water.. solvent in cape code may give you a rash on your wrist 1. dremel ... put polish on the wheel .... speading it on with your finger 2. polish with paste and undersirt.. to remove fine swirs you will see in the sunlight 3 tooth brush to get excess polish out of the cracks PAU... hawaiian for finito .. finished ... done .. go sleep
  18. ok sorry for the blurr... rushing... well actually all my pics are blurred... eagle one rim aluminum mag polish great stuff this has lasted about 6 years... don't know if they still make this one.. but any billet aluminum (polished aluminum ) will work .. better to get paste .. easier to work with. this polishing wheel is known as a "cutter" meaning it will take out the scratches .. this is not a "finishing " wheel a finishing wheel is soft and fluffy.. can't find one for the dremel so i finish by hand and a soft cloth . old undershirt.. put the paste on the wheel with your finger.. don't do it next to your computer screen it goes all over the place.. use high speed on your dremel. hold the bracelet links tight so they are stretched remember it's not how hard you press the dremel.. let the paste do the cutting and polishing work, use polish liberally.. remember a dry wheel will leave heavy swirls edit add on: if it's heavy scratches get the red rouge at the hardware store that sells the dremel finish with the cloth and more polish to take out the fine web swirls.. in the sun the swirls look terrible.. then get a soft bristle tooth brush and get the paste out of in between the links and areas that you cannot get to with the cloth.. i keep my braclets lookin new all the time.. note: this wheel is a little too worn, when its uneven (the wheel) you have sahrp edges that can leave ridges in the SS..stay away from the bezel...LOL.. don't get carried away .. less is more good luck UB t a k e y o u r t i m e have fun.. good luck never mind the mess the paste will turn black no worries this is the metal turning the polish black
  19. UB if you don't have a dremel with a polishing wheel you may want to invest in one.. about 35 usd in the hardware store.. u can use the red rouge and finish with aluminum paste polish. i find this better than the jewelers rouge.. then finish that with a soft undershirt and more aluminum polish.. don't use brasso IMO it's too abrasive for finishing to a mirror shine... email me for more info and pics if you want. the dremel will take out the scratches.. if you want to do it by hand just get aluminum polish at a bike shop (harley) get billet aluminum polish... and work the polish with a soft cloth.. undershirts work good... baby diapers are the best for finishing.
  20. used a mirror to take pic?
  21. Pug ....it's curved......... )...a lot less than this, but curved
  22. NO.... slight convex....( is that the correct term?)
  23. Sounds like you have some issues that you need to resolve with your collector .. Again,.. this is a Replicated watch... if you want perfection out of the box then we all know the alternative ... but we have options .. choices.... Modifications will be made... when this and other replicas can be taken by Ziggy they will be much better after the trip.. this is a given in the Rep world.. or the alternative is be happy knowing you are buying a rep..heard Honpo is almost perfect at 1000 usd on up.. As far as your dealings with your collector .. that is an issue that needs to be resolved between you and the collector.. as for myself.. I have sent watches back, by priority mail and at other times have had Joshua,.. send me a replacement EMS before I send back the defective watch.. but again this post is about the aquitimer release .. if you would like me to inquire what is going on with your watch .. PM me
  24. the Ar is definately double sided but on the acale of 1-10 strong .. probably a 6 or 7 the CD is definately stonger ... to compare,.. the Breitling ,..BCE is strongest IMHO..of the new generation AR'd and yes i will be remembered for the one with everything falling off the dial BTW Joshua got the replacement out to me yesterday.. same day I emailed him... @PUG..hope you recieve yours soonest.. looking forward to your review.. and yes i hope for the team that the way is clear for good "Kharma"
  25. As in.??... please quantify that statement so someone can verify if there is an error in the CB.. thanks
