collector got back to me as fast as the fiber optics would allow... another is being sent out today.. that's today in China but tomorrow in Hawaii that's why I buy from him..trying to find humor in this so I don't add a dent to something

the good news is the aquatimer did arrive.. the "other news" is that the factory worker forgot to secure the movement in the case.. well i will let the pics speak for themselves.. the inner bezel problem is fixed... but this is what I guess would happen to the dial if the movement is not secure.... feel free to laugh out loud .. i did... the stop watch hand has fallen off ... the face of the dial has moved a little since i got it.. mmmmmm .. wonder what caused that the day wheel is grossly misaligned. ergo after a tooth clicked it fails to work i don't care for the Tube /crown.. problems down the road... the rubber is soft not like the CD's but other than that it is very well done after my laugh ... i realized that this is only a delay as my collector I am sure will send out another tomorrow... but better news.. DBR's case recieved today and going to oxi it tomorrow.. Next up PUG or EUNO

Yes and no.. i never have anything delivered to my Home.. never home to sign for it.. and the time that customs agents came knocking on my door .. kind of turned me off to home delivery.. so everything is sent to a business center .. it is there to be picked up by ME..

The "package " arrived at my mail center at 1:50 pm yesterday.. along with another parcel from UK... (DBR)... but it is right to say that it would be a shame to see this thread come to an end.. Looks like the time frame after the genuine (if there is one) is dropped off to the makers take about 5 to 6 months... but we all see ETA's crumble .. i believe we will see some new replications ... early (or mid) 08 .. I don't track, but out of curiousity what is the "marketing" lead time for the new reps.. as far as when the collectors post pics or just word of mouth...

I would consider myself the last person to throw in .. just to "jump on the band wagon" but as a relatively new member and a member that is trying to stay coachable and "learn" about watches and movements not Reps per say.. I agree since I have come on board, the RWG has taken a wide 180 degree turn and as I have told "1" member IMHO the forum is turning into a tabloid form of the National Enquirer.. with watches just as a side line for other topics.. mostly to garner attention and recognition, rather than to supply information. I was thinking of letting things take their course with this but thought that would be riding the "coat tail " of other members who are trying to do the right thing as far as telling it like it is... a couple of day's ago I was chastised for disagreeing with a "History" thread about the History of a watch not being about celebrities or the word I used was Movie stars.. but rather about the founders and history of the timepiece itself.. well that really upset you Vic and in part yes I did speak my mind .. trying to do it in a tactful way .. well members can read it for themselves.. my message and intent was the "do unto others" and clearly you cannot take what you dish out... whether male or female ... if your going to "draw your sword" then .. live by the sword .. die by the sword. you were very polite when first posting, then as you have gained "fans" or as we say in Hawaii "backers"... your true colours have shown that you like to "control" the board and if challenged,.. insult.... then run to your "friends".. for backing.. and please don't say you don"t need them to back you otherwise I doubt you would be so arrogant. my collector informed me today that the maker of the 3717-2 Spitfire .. white dial... that i got was not the finished product.. the crystal is supposed to be double AR.. that being said, my collector will send me the new case set once the maker has completed the final product my collector was erroneously advised that the final product was done. so as far as I'm concerned it is a win-win situatiopn.. i don't mind wearing it until the new case set arrives.. so please be advised that it was the makers error and not my collector.. or yours.. lanikai Edit add on 12/12/07 informed @2am that the 3717-2 Laureaus is ready for shipping.. my replacement case back fofr the white dial *double AR* has been shipped with the 3717-2 white dial... check with your collectors **check case back though before ordering

the feeling of the needles against the skin is electrifying.. there is a thin line between pleasure and pain... my Polynesian arm ban took 3 hours.. this was many years ago .. and i fell asleep while my friend was inking it. in a strange way it felt rather soothing..he was offended and tried to press deeper... it has always been people whom I've know for a while that have done the work on me.. not retail tat shops.. my one vision is to have a elder (kupuna) do work on my entire quad and down my calf.. you spend time with him and talk about your ancestors in Hawaii and the trials and changes that took place then he does a story with Hawaiian design chronicalling the generations of your family this sitting takes about 8 to 12 hours..so obviously someday when I have the extra time it is something that I would like to have done. I posted this yesterday and regular gas was 3.28.09 usd/gal. here. by yesterday afternoon it was 3.31.09 usd/gal... give it a day or two and at 4 cents a day .. we should be right where the oil companies that project 40 billion usd profit this year want to be.. geezz only 36 or 38 BILLION in profit last year..
