  1. Seems like a pointless exercise when there are more obvious tells than the crown height........ Sorry mt666tm only just noticed your post there!
  2. If your Roo is on a standard rep strap you can use the strap links on your new strap. If your Roo has a bracelet, my advise would be to buy a rep strap and use the strap links and deployment clasp from it on your new strap. The strap looks every so slightly too wide for the watch.
  3. Sorry, looks like a cheap fantasy model. That movement looks cheap and Chinese and can found on a whole host of make believe watches.
  4. How can I get in contact with Serge? And how much would he charge for a strap like that?
  5. So what is the name of your restaurant? It must be a very well established restaurant, one of which of I would like to eat in when I am next in Ohio.
  6. Got a BK ceramic Sub coming my way after its had the slim hands fitted and the whole watch lumed with pearl mod by pbdad.
  7. How small is your wrist if you don't mind me asking? Mine is 6.70" and I still have two links I can removed.
  8. Really interested on how his work is. I too am from Scotland (Ayrshire) and one of my watches is in need of a service.
  9. Can I ask how you know my name? The double AR makes the dials 'pop'. I think I may have found an opticians in Glasgow that is willing to AR coat crystals. Just waiting on the go ahead from they to send in my two remaining AP's to get done.
  10. Well I currently have 3 AP's, some modded others not. It all started with the Silverthemes almost one year ago and my love has grown. I am toying with the idea of the Tour Auto next. The Rubberclad has double AR, has been serviced and also has been lumed. The Silverthemes has just had a strap upgrade to an AP bands white leather with black stitching strap. The Volcano is awaiting some double AR treatment as the Rubberclad came out sooooo good.
  11. I used Sams Taylor in Hong Kong when I was there last March. Its the true 24hr suit experience and he has a great range of fabrics. I visited two other taylors before going to Sam's and the fabrics offered to me were rubbish! Sam's is great place steeped in history with pictures of Sam with a whole host of Celeb clients. Dont be afraid to haggle though, I halved the price of my suit and shirt
  12. Dont worry about the bezel screws, what you are seeing there is the rubber o-ring. My silver themes arrived like that and now its perfect.
  13. I just used my rep links for both my AP bands straps. They work just fine.
  14. Thank you for the reply. I am going to send him my Silver Themes and Volcano after my next trip offshore. Can I ask how durable the RG is on your rubberclad? I am torn between the SS rubberlcad and RG, but am put off by the RG's durability. I too am getting to be an AP nut with a Silver Themes & Volcano currently in my collection with (hopefully) a rubberclad on its way.
  15. What was Fransico's turn around time on the watches? I have two AP's waiting for some mod/service treatment and possibly a relume too.
  16. One word AWESOME! Why wont the rep makers rep this amazing watch!?!?!?!?!?!?
  17. Come on factories I want this in secs@12!!!! I love the blue with brown leather.
  18. My AP Collection is starting to take shape and after buying a Silver Themes and a Volcano: I now fancy buying a gold AP, possibly the Montoya or Barichello (it will probably end up being both!). I was just wanting to know the durability of the gold plating from anyone that owns a plated AP.
  19. Can you explain what you mean by bezel issues? If you are talking about the hex screws on the bezel, then any AP can suffer from that unless your dealer can email you pics for you to QC the watch prior to shipment, something I have made sure my dealers have done before purchasing both of my AP's, hence both of my AP's hex screws in the bezel are good examples. I would post pics up but my Silver Themes it is like anyone else's and some members on here have photographed it so well, my attempts would be useless in comparison. My advice is to go with a dealer who will send you pics prior to shipping so you can QC the watch.
  20. After buying my first AP, a Silver Themes on a bracelet, at Xmas I was torn between buying a strap for it, which meant I had to buy a rep strap for the conversion links and deployment clasp OR buying another AP, but this time buying one on a strap so I had the conversion links and deployment clasp. I of course bought another AP, this time the Volcano, but I now want another strap for the Silver Themes Is AP bands the only place to buy AP straps?
  21. If anyone in the UK wants to order a 4813 I am willing to place an order with Eurotimez and we could split the shipping cost to decrease the overall cost of the movement. I am wanting to swap out the 2813 from my Milgauss for one.
  22. Can anyone tell me what movement this is? Clone or real ETA?
  23. Marine engineering officer on a cruise ship.
  24. Eurotimez wont do the upgrade for you, you'll have to buy the movement and fit it yourself. I have just ordered a Noobmariner with clone ETA from PWC using his wholesale offer for $119 rrp $200ish.
  25. I received my Milgauss yesterday and I cant stop looking at it. It really is a well made rep and you would like it would have cost twice as much as PWC's $99 asking price. Since receiving it I have placed a wholesale order with PWC for a few more of his watches. Cant recommend PWC enough!
