Cheers for the replys guys, I emailed Josh last night regarding the SOSF he lists which has the mineral crystal and a 21j movement. Almost a $160 difference between this one and the sosf with the copy eta movement and double AR crystal. But he said these were the only differences. Will the different crystal make a huge difference? Or will it not be too noticable to the untrained eye. I'm also going to research a bit more about the movement as I don't want one with 6months later after daily wear will crap out on me.

Evening all. I know I'm a noob around here but i've been on here pretty much everyday reading everything I can about the reps out atm, and now I feel that its time I take the plunge and as its my birthday on Fri I want to treat myself I've narrowed my choice down the SA (although for a daily I'm concerned this may be too big) Skyland UPO All very nice watches, but with a budget of no more than $275 I cant get all 3 essensially after reading the reviews I can see there are pros and negs but which ones in your opinions are A - closest to gen out of the box B - least obvious flaws (ie slighly concerned about the lume dots on the skyland) I do like the SOSF but its a touch out of my price range Any oppinions/advice please

As said earlier, the one rep which could potentially kick start the interest again would be the chronomat B01, its amazing. If only I could afford 5k for the gen

Really like the idea of this, I dont post much but do a hell of a lot of research before I commit to a spend. Like I joined here after having a good rep of a datejust (needs a new movement) and a not so great explorer 1 (wrong hands) but before this I didnt have half the know i do now. initially i had an open mind but now its down to the 3 which to me would appear super-reps SuperOcean Steelfish UPO Explorer 2

I can safely say if there is a very good and accurate rep out there of this I'll definatly put my name down and get one

Before anyone points out, I am aware there is no steel fish chrono, I think a few too beers on a work night took their toll on me. Noob mistake haha

Ahh ok, I'll compare the two rep & gen to see what the difference is. If most associate the UPO with the non-chrono then would that potentially mean this is up to the UPO standards albiet in chrono format? If so I think it could be something a little different but still a heavy hitter like the SOSF chrono

That looks fantastic. love the rugged look of the Hublots. Although tbh I still think I prefer the look of the Big Bang
