  1. Joe is working on the pointed guards for mine. Now, the question is: will the dial on the watch on the right be 'correct' if it were placed on the 'pointy CG' watch on the left? ...or do I have to buy that older-style dial (gilted and glossy)?
  2. No disrespect to you Topaz, but I think that we should try to save as many of our informative posts as possible. They are a great resource and will disappear when the "old" RWG comes crashing down. True, they can be recreated over time but why reinvent the wheel.
  3. Joe- A genuine 1675 "NOS" dial is on its way to your shop for install
  4. Joe- You will have to see if the Michael Young bezel fits this case. I am sending you the one I bought from him for the Milgauss. I think it is the same size as the Bond. It looks very nice. Deeper teeth than the WM. If it doesn't fit then I will have it put on my 6541...which is in desperate need of a better bezel too.
  5. Which look do you folks like better? I am leaning towards the earlier model (left).
  6. Do tell...what is the movement and how has it been working?
  7. I never get tired of looking at this watch. Great pics and post Ubi
  8. I think that this is going to be my favorite too. The combination of the brevet, domed crystal, rare dial and white bubble seconds hand makes this a serious looker.
  9. Awesome watch...I'm wearing it now FYI- "the Michael Young effect" means that the dial markers are slightly raised with the application of the new lume.
  10. Starting with a WM vintage GMT (and Joe's skills): We had the small GMT hand made for the ETA movement: With a bezel lift and some case refinishing we should have something like this (but a little less beat up):
  11. I bought a tent and light kit for $75 off a seller on Ebay: I use a black backdrop (included in the above kit) and the acrylic watch stands to hold my watches. I also purchased these off of Ebay. I place my Pentax Optio S4 (5Megapixel point-shoot) on a tripod at the tent opening. (I really want to get a digital SLR so I can use filters and have standard manual adjustable features, like shutter speed and aperature) I use Microsoft's Digital Image Suite software (i'm using version 7, but version 10 is now available) to adjust the image contrast/brightness and clean up dust particles (which become very obvious using the macro setting and bright tangential lighting.)
  12. PAM005 from Joshua (no mods) wearing a Mario Paci 5
  13. Audemars Piguet Nick Faldo (no mods) from Eddielee
  14. Daytona 6263 from DW (tropic crystal installed by Ubiquitous)
  15. LV Sub from King (mods by Joe: "the works")
  16. Red Sub from WM (mods by Joe: "the works")
  17. Ahhh...now that you are here..."crack, crack"...get to work on my watches
  18. This is going to be such an awesome piece...I keep waiting to see a movement make its' way into this case (I'm sure you are too.)
