It's a veritable cornucopia of rep repair knowledge...what a fantastic resource (even for a chicken like me who won't mess with these watches.) I can only imagine the time it has taken to put each one of these posts together.
Your photo-lessons are incredible. As everyone has already said, thank you.
Thanks to posts like these maybe someday I will get up the nerve to open up or modify one of my own watches.
I can't wait to have that on my wrist.
Nanuq was right...it definitely needed a new bezel. That one looks near perfect. The height and definition of the teeth are a huge improvement.
The amount of work you put into this piece getting it 'just right' is absolutely evident.
I agree with Willith 100%
Those straps and vintage PAMs are a perfect combination.
This might be my favorite Panerai collection I have seen so far. Please share the sources for the straps/watches...I may have to go shopping soon.
Everytime I wind my DW copy v72 movement I keep thinking I'm going to hurt it...these movements are not great. That said, I can't take my 6263 off...I love it.

He may take a day or so to get back in touch with you, so have patience. It can take up to 6-weeks to get your dial from them.
Joe (RBJ69) also can do your lume and vintagizing...he has also done up a number of my vintage Rolex dials. If you want "raised/puffy" lume or not, he can work with you.
...yes and yes.
The only problem that I have with his redials has been the lume on the hour markers- they are too puffy (raised) compared to the lume on genuine dials. He will make any dial you request (I've had him make a 1680, 1665 COMEX and a black 6263).
The lights came with the tent as a kit. The seller link is no longer accessible to me in my Ebay history so I can't tell you the name of the seller. I'm sure that they are still around if you go searching for them. It's a heck of a deal for $75.
Ahh...the ultimate vintage. Do you wear this watch much?
Thanks to your inspiration I've been thinking of having my dial stripped and painted and new hands installed. Here's mine (from WM):
