  1. Nanuq, I have you to thank...as it was you who pointed out that the bezel assembly was not accurate on the rep (on both the Bond and MG). Fortunately for me, Michael Young's reproduction parts fit perfectly. ...here are some pics of the watch before Nanuq's inspiring comments: (since the time of the pictures posted below, RBJ has repainted the dial markers that WM had initially vintagized, the arrow on the second hand is now painted red, the crystal was replaced, and the bezel assembly/insert was replaced)

gt11- looks like sevomd (who owns an amainzing WM piece of his own) beat me to it but yes he is selling a similar one on TRC and he also has a very expensive one on WT and TRC. Kruzer00- Mine does not have a display back (unlike the own for sale on TRC). Mine is a solid back with a brushed finish. At one point he was selling just the back piece for project watches. (update...exWM sold that $3000 47mm piece today)

Without a caliber on-hand, it seems to be the same size as my genuine superdome.

You'll have to ask RBJ. He was going to put in a Tropic but the new bezel/insert assembly sticks up so high that you would not get a nice 'dome' effect with it. He apparently bought these aftermarket crystals to try out on some other watches and he thought of using it on this one since the height of this crystal would stick up much higher than the insert...giving me the nice 'dome' effect that I wanted. It looks amazing in person and produces a sweet distortion of the dial. This is what the profile would have looked like with the Tropic installed (picture of 6541 sold by RPS01 with same bezel assembly and Tropic)...much less impressive looking IMO.

  14. Is this the same Watchwatcher who used to say that he couldn't understand why anyone would spend the money to mod these reps...good to see you come around
  15. That is absolutely incredible. Congratulations Randy!! That piece could easily be sold as genuine...scary. Your persistance and patience is commendable...so are your pictures.
