  1. What's the lume like on this? Does it have the blue and green mix?
  2. Wow.. if this wasn't covered in that 007 crap, I'd be all over it!
  3. I think the biggest problem with that watch is the shade of the blue. It looks far lighter than the gen.
  4. Can you get the spring bar on to the watch on its own, without the bracelet? (just to give an idea of how bad it is)
  5. Anyone know if they've managed to sort out the silver dial text yet? I want one of these but have been waiting (hoping) for this to get fixed first.
  6. It's taken me half a day but I'm done. Doesnt actually look too bad either. I whacked the pins half way back in then straightened with pliers before finishing them off. I just have to make sure that I never gain or lose weight as I daren't go through this again. The watch is nice.
  7. Lol.. thanks for the comments. I have enough out to start lining it up now . It looks like I need to size it with one side longer than the other as there is only 1 half link and I need an odd number of whole links but it doesnt look too bad. I think I'll have a rest before I go through trying to find the least bent links to put back in!
  8. Got a couple out. Looks like the tool I have has been bending them on the way out. My watch is getting more and more little scratches as I do this and Im not even half way through. What a ridiculous way to make these. Thanks for the advise.
  9. While I agree that this works on most watches. These things could not be tighter. I can grip the pin with pliers but cant get it to move at all other than round and round. Its driving me crazy!
  10. you're not joking. I now have 2 bent pins and 3 others just stuck. Its gonna look very odd at the jewelers!
  11. I recieved a PO 42mm today from eurotimez (2nd one sent as first never arrived). I am having an unbelieveable time trying to get the pins out to resize the bracelet. I have a tool for doing this yet they do not seem to come out more than about 5mm then get stuck. Is there a trick to doing this or do I need some kind of supermachine to do it?
  12. How much did you pay for this?
  13. Do sellers normally put return addresses on their reps and would customs write to let me know?
  14. Thanks for the support, my fingers will remain crossed. There's nothing worse than waiting for something, especially when you get it in to your head that its gone missing. I guess your experience confirms that its impossible to predict the postal service, let alone international services. I ordered a couple of cheaper reps (different watches) from watchinternational shortly after the eurotimez order and these came through quickly by EMS so Im not completely put off reps yet! The Planet Ocean is the first watch I really wanted though so if mine doesnt arrive Id definitely be keen to discuss yours if you really wanted to sell it!
  15. Hey, just saw your response and quickly went off to check parcel force and DHL but nothing there either. There was a bit of confusion my end when it came to delivery methods, I should definitely have gone for the europe delivery and would have had I been aware of the risks. We live and learn though. Im not confident it will arrive but definitely am still hoping. The order was for a PO 42mm, I know eurotimez are not the cheapest for these but was hoping to get a good quality, well inspected rep from a decent dealer, maybe I still will..
  16. I emailed eurotimez again on Wednesday and received a response yesterday saying that it is not their responsibility to chase up my missing watch. They also added that registered airmail is not trackable in the UK and as such they cannot really do anything about it. They did however attempt to chase it for me but were not able to contact anyone who could help. I didnt expect this to happen when paying a high price from a reputable seller. Maybe I should have researched the delivery options more (not that I have been able to find anything anywhere on the Internet to say that registered air mail is actually not registered). I suggest that any other new members are more careful!!
  17. Would this suggest then that it never flew out and would this mean that it has likely been misplaced or stolen? Do you know if there is any come back for lost air mail (against the post service responsible)? Eurotimez have so far just told me to keep waiting, they have also stated that they do not guarentee airmail to arrive...
  18. When I enter the tracking ref on the royalmail site, it says it cannot be found. However, they do have this message: Track and Trace is a Royal Mail service that lets you check the status of a trackable item that you sent through the post. Please note that items sent from overseas to the UK cannot be tracked using the Royal Mail website.
  19. Hi, yes I have a tracking number. When I track it, I only see the following: Year: 2009 Status: Departured from China Destination: Customs UK Last Location: Beijing International Airport Date: 2009-11-20 I think eurotimez preferred method is EMS but at point of purchase, the site told me to choose a delivery method and I picked registered airmail beliving it to be safe. I should probably have looked in to this first but there was nothing to suggest it was a bad choice.
  20. I ordered a watch from eurotimez in late October. It was despatched to me on the 9th November by registered airmail, with me thinking that this was a good safe choice of delivery (little did I know...). Almost 6 weeks later I have received nothing. Having emailed eurotimez a couple of times, it seems that registered airmail can not easily be tracked. This was my first ever order from a dealer so with lack of experience I did not realise I could be subjected to such delays with this delivery method. Is this normal with registered airmail? Should I give up hope or is there a chance it will still come? Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. Paul
  21. It looks very nice. I have been looking and that site has some nicely priced DeVilles too. the only thing holding me back on these is that I've read the AquaTerra and DeVilles can wear a bit large. I know they are only 40mms but with no bezel, would they look a bit big on a 7" wrist? Im not too keen on over sized watches but am gradually adjusting..
