Greasing the back gasket is easy, but how to grease the crown and tube gaskets without removing them? Thank you for your help!

There is a nylon gasket around the crystal, and as you can see, a retaining ring inside the bezel... Wow sorry for the size!!!!

Btw, is it necessary to lume MBW dial? Thirty year old tritium markers aren't supposed to glow anymore, right?

The 1:1 version is supposed to be released in a month or so (cf. Mrs King). But I fear it will just be the swiss ETA version and I am not sure it will correct the non working bezel locking system and the other flaws. And I am pretty sure the jumping hour will not be repped... (((

Hi, I've bought a $198 vintage GWSD with ETA2846 but after disassembling the bezel, it is not built as gen or MBW. It seems that the bezel is rotating around a retaining clip, and this retaining piece is clipped around the crystal... The bezel is roating really loose :-( Is it possible to change this system and use a gen/aftermarket bezel? thank you! Francois

That's a nice one! What about the bezel on it? Is it tight or loose? Ultimate PAM199 looks great, but it's terrible when rotating the bezel...Sounds sooo cheap! What about your 187? Thank you for your answer!

I got everything from Mrs King...It's a rep sapphyre for sure...I was really suspicious about it, so I asked her to check the crystal with a diamond tester...And here we are.

About one month old...

Picture 1 shows a watch I've asked my dealer to mod: sapphyre crystal, swiss7750, V3 PAM212 dial, correct rotor and caseback... Picture 2 shows a V3 PAM212. Just to say you can find real sapphyre on PAM212/253 but crystal is expensive...

And what do you think of that:

It's a slow beat movement, 21 600 bpm (genuine is 19 900). ETA doesn't produce them, chinese factories have new old stock...it's working great on mine...

Hi, I've got this one...Crystal is great, datewheel is correct with silver background, flat 3 and open 6 and 9, but you'll definitely have to replace the crown with a genuine one... Bracelet will need some vintagizing and oiling too... The pearl is really close to gen, insert looks OK, but the bezel rotates too easily for a supposed 30-something year old watch...
