I would be surprised if its DSN, the ones I see have a very strong blue tint on the glass at this angle.

Very sharp of you to note that it is a fantasy model - just waiting for it to become not a fantasy. Ha ha.

I will need side by side comparison of the bezels as I have not paid attention to this.

The case back is rather generic and does not have serial numbers. Is there such a rep out there that actually replicate the actual correct model number and serial number ? (eg 009/1000).

Is there a detailed review and comparison of his reps? I have only seen the pictures he posted of his reps on one of the sites (can't recall which). The CP were all done right but not sure about the CG. To see any difference, there would need to be a side by side comparison with a gen and a typical similar rep.

I have seen a number of reviews on other forums, looking at dials, watches, versus gens and versus other modders. So they are out there usually they are pinned threads so easily viewable. Also there are some pictorial reviews within the forums looking at comparisons of EL, LH DSN CG's ,CB's etc.

Given the content of your first post I would of thought you might of already of looked at these. But if you have a look round the info is out there mate.

With the one I got the only three things I could fault compared with the gen that was the TAG embossment on the clasp the rep is not as defined as gen also on the crown, they are still good enough though. And the model number on the CB was for the standard bezel model.

Apart from that and the CZ as mentioned it is a very good rep for good money.

I just hope my Mum likes it fortunately she has small wrists!!

I dont know what eBay are playing at, they must of been inundated with reports, certainly enough to warrant a closer a look and by doing so realisingwhat that watch was.

In a way the buyer deserves what he gets with all the indicators given on the ad itself, feedback, pictures etc and then not researching correctly. But I wouldnt wish that sort of hit on someone at this time of year.

I can say now the crystals are the same, the ones in his 127/217 ultimates are the same ones he sends out as parts with same AR and shape

That is a nice version of the watch. Maybe just me but the dark background doesnt show off its true appearance enough.

Thats exactly what I got my Mum, very pleased with it.

I got my wife a Seksy watch she has a few, she likes the designs and the bling of them. Personally the only thing I like about them is the quick change of the bracelet links for resizing.

hackR's right, there was a post a few weeks back, it was about something else that had been coated but it linked to the bracelet coating.

Not sure if it was in Avitts sig or a link in the post, but it's definately around here somewhere, I'll try find it for you Pete.

I remember him saying he wasn't too keen on coating a bracelet because of how they are made up and also because it would be a different colour from the watch (watch was a V2 BS). In the end it all turned out very cool, has slightly differing shades from different angles. Sounded very cool!

I have a V1 SA if you want it bud and Vlydog is selling a gen Avitt DLC'd clasp in the parts sales I think it is!

I agree, I hate the rubber too, I just got BlackBard to make me a black gator strap with the correct colour red stitching! Something different than the 'normal' HKTan strap that Lani made famous!

I have not been here long but in a short time I have seen some great watches, I mean really great. Some are mentioned above. But to be honest these have been styles and looks I already liked and enjoyed.

But today I saw a very simple modification to a watch style I use to dislike, until today that is.... That is Hikes final project of the year in the GD forum.

For me it gets my vote because it showed me that with a little simple ingenuity you can change the average into the unusual and striking whilst keeping its soul

In addition this creation has completely changed my view of a particular case style and in turn has made me think that with a little imagination and skill what else can be acheived with other watch styles.

Up until seeing that I had only thought in terms of creating accuracy not just creating. So its more about the effect it had on my opinion which to me is a powerful thing to do with a watch.

I love that colour I really do. Wasnt keen on Radiomir cases but that dial in the PVD case looks awesome.
