Hey guys...check TRC out... Gran's wife just posted there... if it is his wife that is....

well... I have been thinking of getting a MBW/WM drsd or srsd... did some research on the internet as well as on RWG1 and TRC... What I found was... the srsd seems to be a very rare rep? even rarer than the drsd...is this true? if so... I would lean more towards getting the drsd... also... looking at a few pics of gens of the srsd... the caseback for the reps seems quite off... or did they have different versions of the srsd again??? any help would be greatly appreciated... cheers!

well... I don't know what I was thinking... I have been here a few days already...but just now, after I got home from dinner, turned on my computer and went to my bookmarks and went to RWG... read a few topics there... and felt weird... something wrong... why was there posts about ppl leaving and stuff... looked at a few other topics... then saw the snow... deja vu... I had gone to the wrong site!!! DUH... sorry if i posted this in the wrong place... and... it is Monday...

Does anyone own this watch? Not very pretty, but I like the compass function, and the touch screen is cool... don't really like the look of the digital screen though... looks like a cheap casio. Wonder if they can rep this watch?

Heard a lot about watchonpo... but what I am not sure is... is he only popular for his Panerai's or all his watches? See a few daytona's in there which look pretty good... or are they the same as what we can get from our dealers?

linkukbora, not a bad rep u have there... i have the gen... here is a pic for you to compare... notice the 10:10 hands...which confirms that it is a rep... also the correct day and date... and the extra GMT dial at 6 o'clock. Also, I have purposely left the bezel off center which is proof the bezel can be rotated uni-directionally. Let me know if you want more pics of the bracelet, caseback, etc...

ok...maybe not directly related to replicas... but kinda...cos it has to do with uploading the photos of replicas... and gens of course.. I have read the knowledge base about how to host pics at other sites such as imageshack... seems a good idea... i have since hosted all my pics on imageshack... one question though...the way i did it...just clicked on the link in the post done by Thor... it said welcome rwg.cc member...blah blah blah... so i just browsed for my pic and hosted a few on imageshack... and they are all done. ok.... is this ok doing it this way? or should i register an account and have an album etc. and host it from my album? just curious... cos currently i am just doing it without a registered account.... help anyone? ps. sorry if this is in the wrong place mods...feel free to move it if necessary... i just thought it would be good for other members so see this as well so they will know to host images on other sites... or maybe everyone else is already doing this... and just me who only just learnt how to do this a while ago...

There is a bit of difference if you look closely... but overall it is a very good looking watch... that you cabbage? I recognise the hairy arms...

Thanks for that admin... I just got mine from Josh less than a week ago... already played golf with it once... i won't go swimming with it tho... I got the one with the old clasp... initially wanted the one with the new clasp but got sent this one... not fussed... you are right... the double locking might be a good thing. However one side of my clasp is so tight... took me about 10 minutes to open it the first time... now... my fingers hurt every time i take my watch off... sure it will get better in time though. There are quite a few differences from the gen... but in all... a very good looking rep imho. For some weird reason VC appeals more to me than AP, to each his own i guess... pity I was not around when u sold your gen... I might have gotten a good deal... Just wanted to check with you admin... I assume the crown on the gen is screw down? otherwise it would not be very waterproof would it???

I say for the next xmas and new year holidays... we set up RWGII with the same xmas these as the old RWG.... as a sign of respect... may she rest in peace...or maybe a RWG day we can celebrate every year... and that will be the day RWG goes offline... for good...
