  1. 3rd day in a row - may be a record
  2. Red Hook Ale (Portsmouth NH)
  3. Shipyard Export (Maine, USA)
  4. I replied to the "Others" R think it got lost in the shuffle
  5. Rubber in summer, bracelet in winter. Rubber is very comfy
  6. Unfortunately there isn't a rep movement. The rep movements require a side pusher in the case for date change. There is only one way to go if you want an accurate 090
  7. Wow, seems like only yesterday TeeJay - Happy Anniversary Still the Franken 003B for me today
  8. Great news indeed BT - congratulations to you and mom
  9. OK, I think it was Ubi that asked what my Favorites were outside of my PAM collection. This one came from Efren and has been running flawlessly since 2003 - JLC Master Control Memovox Only a couple of Breitlings: Steelfish SuperOcean - first batch from TWP, ETA 2824, Ziggy Lume My only Two Tone watch - Chrono EVO: I mentioned that I am a big Omega Fan - wouldn't list them all but these are the Frankens: SMP Chrono - Gen Dial, Gen Bezel, Chief Double AR SMP Bond - Gen Dial, Gen Hands, Gen crown & Tube, Gen He Valve, Chief Single AR Franken PO 4th Gen - Gen Dial, Gen Crystal, Gen Bezel - Thanks to Ubi and Ziggy for making this one work IWC is another favorite brand of mine and I have had a number of different models - Loved the 3717's - Had to sell mine to raise some funds so I kind of miss them. These are the ones that are the keepers today: Ingenieur - Lello DW, Chief Double AR, ZIggy Lume 3719 Aquatimer Chrono - Ziggy Lume, ETA 7750 transplant, ETA Day/Date wheels, Chief Double AR 5002 Big Pilot - one of my all-time favorite watches. This one has only had the recessed DW fix Moving on to Rolex/Tudor: My 5513 Gilt and Pointy was a whim of a project starting with the dial - It came out nicely and always gets comments when I post it redial, MBW 5513 case, Clarks T-19, ETA 2846, Clarks Gilt Hands, Gen crown/tube,Gen insert with aged pearl, Yuki expansion band (not installed yet) The other Rolex I am proud of is the 16570 Franken Explorer - took well over a year to get this one done. Much thanks go to Bytor for all of the discussions Gen Dial, Gen crown/Tube Last Rolex is my 1655 Explorer - always loved this model - Took a couple of models to get this one assembled right - much thanks to TMG and Oliver for breaking ground on this one. Trusty case, dial, Omega Flightmaster hands, Gen crown/tube, Ziggy lume My lone Tudor is one of the lucky Gerards buys - 7016/0 with Helen Wong insert with aged pearl (not in this Pic), gen crown/tube Some other favorites that you don't see very often:
  10. OK, I get first dibs if you decide to sell this one. I miss it every time I see it
  11. Yea, seems like I'm a PAMaholic but I actually have a pretty diverse collection. I blame Kruzer for getting me into the PAM modding game I am a huge Omega and IWC fan and actually made my way to the forums looking for a good 16600 Sea Dweller (still have my fingers crossed for the WM9 release for that one). I'll work on a "Other Top 5" post for you Ubi
  12. It's the lighting Rob. The Gen T is nicely patina'd and is a bit yellowish. My Pic sucks Here is a fresh shot:
  13. I've never had a rep die. They break, I get them serviced, they run again and as mentioned should last until they need servicing again (5 years on average).
  14. Glad you're out of the woods with the Tudor shipment K. Nerve wracking to say the least I'm with HackR today - wearing my white dial 003B Franken:
  15. OK, my request is to see the Top 3 in Richard Lawton's collection. Someone has already asked for Robert's who would have been my other initial choice. I have always admired Richard's collection and I know he has handled most of the best in reps at some point. Come on Richard, show us the Top 3-5
  16. First, great idea for a thread and I will will be posting my request! OK, narrowing down is not one of my strong points but these are definitely the Top group. I've built and owned a lot of PAM's but not as many as some others. I gravitate mostly to the T-Dial manual wind Historic's with the exception of my soft spot for the Silver Arrow Automatic Power Reserves. I'm not much of a Chrono guy and although I love the Daylights, eventually sold them off to complete other projects. These are the core that, although times have been tough and I often I think about selling, still remain in the collection. First up is my Franken 027A Silver Arrow Franken - Gen Dial, Crown, Lello DW, Marco Cyclops, Ziggy assembly, Correct seconds hand (not in picture) Next is the 028A Silver Arrow - Hopno dial, Rolli PVD, Gen Crown, Lello DW, Marco Cyclops, correct seconds hand (not in picture) Next is my Franken 003B - Gen T-Dial & Hands, Gen Crown, Thick B series caseback, Ziggy assembly Next would be my Pre-A 002 - Simon Dial, Zig Lume, Gen Crown, Jimmy Case expertly polished by Brobert, Correct caseback, Zig assembly Last would be my 5218 pair (hard to split them up): 5218-201/A - Perfect Pre-V case, Drilled with correct Pre-V Dual screw Lug bars, Simon Dial filled with Genuine Tritium by Zig, Gen Crown, V CG 5218-202/A - DSN case Cape Cod Polished to correct color/lustre, FGD DIal lumed by Zig, PRE_V dual screw Lug Bars, Gen PVD crown Honorable mention and one I don't think I'll ever sell - PAM 024A - Zig polished the bezel, removed the lume buckets and free-form T-lumed the dots, Gen crown, soon to get an ultimate crystal for better mag, Lello DW And just for you Pete - my 026B Luminova - Zig PVD's case with correct Destro CG and nice B series caseback, Zig C3 Lumed dial, Gen PVD Crown
