I have an old Abay (Paul) 1680 and it's case is similar thin profile. Holding on to it and plan to build something out of it one of these days.
BTW, what is a MQ dial?
The whole insert. The older SMP inserts were a lighter shade of blue as well as having a bad pearl. This one isn't perfect and I've always thought about following the tutorial Veloci did way back as I think it is the only way to get it extremely accurate.

I sourced an insert from one of the SMP Chrono models as it had a better color blue and much better pearl. I hadn't found an aftermarket that was as nicely done...
