  1. Great contribution, again, Toad. Wish I had this when I was building mine - I know it will be useful for anyone taking this project on
  2. Right back at ya Freddy No that is my kind of Chunky Peanut Butter
  3. Yup, nobody to sign for it. They will leave a notice and try again or your friend can take the notice to the PO and pick it up
  4. And more importantly, How do you get the skates on their feet?
  5. Andrew, I am curious to know what grief was caused? It was a site that nobody participated in and nobody cared about with Kilink as the only real member? Puggy and BT should be the only ones who might actually have a beef with what John did by posting their content and neither seems to be upset or care about it?? Like Dave said, prank gone too far but IMO, no harm done. Given the time it must have taken John to copy all of that data over, I might suggest that he put the time and energy to more desirable forum contributions but hey, that's my opinion
  6. Ziggy, no worries. My Pics weren't that great. We were forging new ground here. We'll get them cleaned up later
  7. Thanks Jeff. The Tudor hands came from Clark's...Best bet for fitting to ETA movements... Anything's possible
  8. 1500 Quality posts with some kick ass reviews thrown in
  9. Thanks! Well, let's say mine are pointy but not quite as "Sharp" as yours. I'll probably have some more work done and make them a tad more pointy but it is probably just the bad photography and lighting.
  10. Thanks for all of the positive comments gents This was one of those projects that I was unsure I would like at the end but I have to say, it is my favorite Sub now @ JoJo, yes, sacrifices had to be made so the RSC look won out. Genuine SuperDome T-19's and Gen vintage inserts and twinlocks were over my budget for this one @ Freddy, a 9315 is on my list but the budget was spent so the rivet was used. I happen to like these Rivets but I am guessing you are not a rivet fan Now I just need to wear it regularly and age it gracefully Just noticed that Andrew Shear is selling a Gen 5513 Gilt dial (just the dial) on the bay for $5,000 Mine doesn't look too bad
  11. @ Master Chief great shot. is that an AR'd cyclops installed? 5513 for me today
  12. Here is my latest Rolex fresh back from up north. Ziggy did another amazing job. 5513 Meters First, Gilt Dial, Pointy CG Genuine for Comparison: Ingredients: MBW 5513 Case reworked by Ziggy (Lugs, Lug Holes) ETA 2846 Slow Beat, Non Hacking, modified to 2 positions Gen Trip-Lock Crown & Tube Gen T-19 Crystal Tudor Hands Redial Glossy Gilt Meters First Dial (Preciouswatches on eBay) Gen Lumi 5513 Insert with Vintage T-Pearl (Takashi) Homer Rivet bracelet Genuine for comparison: Glamor Shot: Wrist Shot:
  13. I'm sure it will look great on her Stilty. Nicely done, as usual
  14. So it's a Replica Replica Forum.... What will they think up next
  15. New arrival to the Vintage family: 5513 Gilt
