  1. Though it is big for a Rolex, the SD still will not compare to the PAMs in size, espeically if you've been 44 mm PAMS with the crown protector. Have you considered an Omega PO?
  2. You know Admin, I always wondered who bought the geniuines like this, much less the reps. Now I know at least one person. A Mexican gentleman I have business dealings with has something very similar to the monster you posted, except genuine of course. He has an 18K President, standard dial with diamond markers, diamonds all over the bezel and case and diamonds covering the center links on the bracelet.
  3. I picked up one yesterday at an AD in Cozumel. I'll see if I can get another. They only had one out.
  4. You can fix it yourself without much trouble. We have kits here in the US you can buy that actually work quite well. You can get some touch up paint and make a kit yourself if you can't find one. Do some research on the internet and you'll find all the info you need. Good luck!
  5. The problem the Heat will face is stopping the Mavericks. Shaq will get his points, but it won't matter if the Mavs score more. And don't underestimate the Mav's defence. The were able to stop Nash and the Suns. Go MAVS!
  6. I'm sure it is the angle of the pic or we may even be seeing the reflection from the 6:00 marker. I've never seen one that was off center enough to notice.
  7. It's a horrible thing and inexcuasable if the allegations are true, which there is no reason to doubt them at this point.
  8. I'll list the first ballad I really liked, KISS Beth. I used to pretend I was Peter Chris. Some other favorites in no particular order Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends Scorpions - Holiday Garth Brooks - The Dance Natilie Marchant/ 10k Maniacs - Verdi Cries Brooks and Dunn - She Used to be Mine Green Day - Good Riddance Billy Joel - Scenes from an Italian Resteraunt, but there are many more Elton John - too many to name just one Montgomery Gentry - Lonely and Gone Jimmy Buffet - Boston Robert Earl Keen - I'm Coming Home
  9. She's a beauty, but I'm afraid I'll have to pass. I really want a 40 mm gmt. Maybe, I'll have to be satisfied with a 44 mm gmt and get the 63. Yea Randy, unfortunately those were all I could find as well. Thanks for the help guys, Robert
  10. As the title says, I am looking for a rep 159. I saw a genuine this past week and fell in love. It is a 40 GMT with brown croc strap. It looks like the 244 is the same watch with the black strap. I've check most of our dealers' sites and can't find the 159. Any help is appreciated. Link to a listing on the Bay. Could be had for $4395.
  11. I was checking out a gen yesterday and I must say it is an amazing watch. Where did you get your 63?
  12. I travel so much now, I am rarely home to listen to anything, but in my car parked at the airport is Green Day "Bullet in a Bible". I roll down the windows and crank up the volume for the ride home. I'll pick up an Ipod when I'm home next weekend, so I can take my music collection with me.
  13. Rossi isn't even the best rider on his team currently. He's behind the Texas Tornado who did very well to earn a 6th place finish.
  14. The Cal Bears and the reigning National Champions, University of Texas Longhorns
  15. Hey Bill, I think most of the current offer and independant 4th hand. How will the new versions be different?
  16. You could go completely rep with this guy. It looks like whatever you need, he has reps of it.
  17. Damn, it is gone just when I was about to pull the trigger.
  18. I would also add that nothing goods seems to come of Rob posting in Joe's threads and vice versa. I suggested at the old RWG and TRC that they stay out of each other's threads. I'm not sure what is so difficult about this.
  19. I’ve been quite on here for a while because of travel for work and I’m not one to call out fellow members or flame anyone, but this thread is exactly what stinks about forums. I have one simple question; did Joe pay to have the watch fixed by Palp? This appears to be Joe's story. If so, the original poster is a moron and should be banned for stupidity alone. Namor, you complained and refused to let the guy fix his work, so he pays for someone else to do it and you come on here and call him a "scammer", unbelievable. If this is indeed the case, your idiocy is beyond comprehension. Your "true story about Joe" seems to have conveniently omitted some very pertinant facts.
  20. I'll add that the times I have dealt with Joe, everything has turned out great. I would have prefered to pay less, but isn't this always the case. I do find it laughable that the original poster would demand a refund or some sort of restitution and not be willing to send the watch back to Joe. I agree that this whole "Scammer" label is hyperbole. To anyone that is waiting for a watch from Joe, I hope you receive it soon.
  21. I see a bunch of white gold currently and in jewelry in general, there is a move to platinum. We buy about 4 tons of gold a month and all indications are that it isn't coming down. I missed Basel this year, but all our designers were there, so I'll see what they think about the gold comeback. I know right now you can buy a used TT Daytona for about $2 less than a SS and that just doesn't seem right.
  22. You might want to check the older GMTs as well. You can pick them up for a deal.
  23. About to turn 38 and my wife will be 39 a few months later. I refer to her as my April December romance that I was too young to know how to get away from.
