It looks real but the crystal mating surface of the rehaut is badly pitted and will probably not seal enough to be waterproof.

You could get this dial relumed with flat plots and clip the tip of the seconds hand so it doesnt overlap the minute marks. The insert can be a little scuffed up and faded, then put in a gen t-19 xtal and it should look pretty good. Also try your best to source a gen 93150 bracelet with 580 end links.

The crown is real but the bezel insert and hands are probably not. Looks like a Yuki case set with Yuki dial and hands. I believe yuki sells the case kit along with dial &hands for $500. Add another $1k for the gen movement and another $80 for the 703 crown. So I hope you didn't pay more than $1600 for this.

It's either a 702 or a 703. Take a picture of the back side and it will be clear.

I believe the watch in your second picture has seen a few too many polishes and the crown guards are thinner because of it.

Just stick with the gen insert and crystal, the rest is pretty spot-on and not worth changing. Here's mine with gen insert & crystal:

Save your money, the TC crown looks very gen.

The TC crown/tube sit closer to the case than gen and since the cutout for the crown on the TC case is a little shallower than gen, your crown might stick out too much.

How is it better? It looks the same as TC bezel in your pictures.

I've had both and a gen. I could not live with the BK crown position and unloaded it for a TC. I emailed TC on a Wednesday and had my watch on Friday, that was 2 months ago and it's been on my wrist since. TC for me is almost perfect with no noticeable tells. It's a keeper of heirloom quality I plan to pass down to my son proudly!

Did you contact Spin about your concern? He probably builds alot of these and he might have forgotten about the gen crown. I opted for the gen crown when I ordered mine and it definately is real, yours might be a one time mistake on his part. Please give him a chance to fix it.
