  1. If mine releases from customs today, I may have it tomorrow, been there since the 14th, hurry up dammit! Who else hates the: "AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGING" message
  2. I think some folks dissect these reps a little too much! I used to be the same, but have relaxed a great deal about the little things, only cosmetic flaws still bug me, dust, marks, dirty fingerprints and what not.....
  3. Isn't the 250 just the same as the 236, but worn with a strap not the steel bracelet? If the answer is yes, then there is no problem surely? You have a 236 but decided to wear it on a strap instead.... Unless I'm being silly and missed something obvious! (quite likely )
  4. Yep, updated as of the 11th "Despatch from Sorting Center "
  5. Or if you are really fussy, get a dsn dial/hands and have them installed
  6. To me, having looked at all the gen pics I could find and compare, this rep looks spot on. I am quite blown away with this level of quality, from the case brushing, date font, and slight, but effective AR, thick crown, and the truly excellent dial, all just like the gens I have seen.... Not to mention the new A7753 with flush date and working pusher at 10..... So looking forward to receiving mine, shouldn't have purchased it, but sometimes you just have to when a rep factory knocks one straight out of the park!
  7. Thanks B, I prefer this over the 196. Nice minimalist dial.... I also think the stock DW looks OK, in fact I think this new PAM series could turn out to be one of, if not, the best reps of the year
  8. Yep, the date pusher @10 is fully functional
  9. Seems like now is the time to test Josh's new QC procedure!
  10. I look forward to seeing some pictures when it arrives!
  11. Very nice HBB, glad you got it safely and like it
  12. Nice This other similar watch was posted a week or so ago.... http://www.1-pc8838.com/rlsv10029-vintage-james-bond-6205-ssnato-a2836-p-9099.html
  13. No need to over complicate things Declare the parcel as a $30 value "timepiece", and tick the box where it says "gift", that's it, simple Ship the parcel using a registered service, I had a Tag 500M go missing from the USA to UK, because the seller didn't pay up the extra $12 for registered post, I never received a watch....
  14. Depends what you mean by "out perform", some dealers have been offering personally selected watches, photographed for confirmation before delivery for a long while now, at much better prices too, nothing new really......
  15. Yeah, there was a thread from ages ago where I quoted a list of banned UK knives, asking if TTK sold any of them, he eventually got round to answering me after a few pages him name calling and insulting everyone, insisting he sold none of the aforementioned knives. However after I looked in detail at his sales listings I saw that he was selling banned items, the thread was locked before I could call him out on it.....
  16. He was selling loads of different knives, full auto's too......
  17. He was a liar too, selling illegal knives to the UK, all the while spouting BS abut them being perfectly UK legal, knives are very far removed from watches, and are a big problem in the UK. He also ripped people off, with a group buy, many peeps out of pocket and without a watch. One of the last things he did here was threaten and insult the powers that be. He was an ass..... So why are we discussing this total toss pot still? He really isn't worth it.....
  18. Why should we be talking about him? There are millions of better topics
  19. Good to see that the smaller dealers like Mary for example, and others, who offer a higher level of QC and a personal touch, including photos before delivery as standard, are finally influencing a larger dealer into offering a higher level of service too It can only be better for us the paying customers, lets hope Josh can live up to his statement, and that he drags a few other dealers along in his wake, as they realise that true QC wins customers, $$$ talks....
  20. Nice watches, I do like the larger style Rolex's over the older 36mm versions. Shame the Asian clone seems faulty, hopefully it can be returned for repair? With luck it will just be the rotor screw, a common problem Personally after reading the many, many terms and conditions I wouldn't buy, especially as the buyer assumes all the delivery risk, not worth it to save $20-30 or so, what with the 3 watch/$250 minimum order/value....
  21. As of now Mary's (watch-international) Asian clone SMP has the best case, but the crystal is poor and without AR I would ask her if she would sell that case for you, then try and source a better crystal for it, and have it AR coated
