  1. I'll try again, but I still can not open it...
  2. Andrew and Joshua are now claiming for a full ceramic bezel insert... and increased the price by a further 30USD. Is it a further new version (we've already seen the improvement in the bezel insert font)?
  3. Gentlemen, thank you for the instant feedback. I will furtherly enquire Chris and PT to have a larger range of collectors. No dropshipping is paid for but I'd rather avoid spending too much on this rep... Thank you.
  4. Thank you for the information. Have you looked at Silix's? It looks different (worse)...
  5. I eventually made up my mind: I will pull the trigger on one GMT IIc with the alleged Swiss ETA inside. I have shortlisted four potential collector: Andrew, Joshua, Angus and Paul. Can any valuable member confirm whether they are supplying the same model (same manufacturer)? Any help appreciated.
  6. Absolutely stunning pictures, gentlemen! I wish I were capable of the same photographical skills: I could contribute with the pictures of my two old CHS Explorer2. Which one do I like best? Difficult to say... worst of all I am considering going gen, but which dial color???
  7. 4500$ = 3350 euros Good to know! I planned to buy a recent (2005/2007) second hand Expl2 and prices in Italy range from 2700 euros to 3000 euros... No one told me whether a 2008 16610 Submariner with RRR at 3,870 euros (incl. TAX) is a good deal or not...
  8. Not unusual in Italy... My watchsmith (official Rolex) offered me the black Sub with 20% off tag price, while the 16610LV for 100 euro more only (!!!) above tag price.
  9. If I'm not mistaken US prices are net of Tax/VAT (which varies from state to state), while EU prices are VAT included (around 20%). Where am I wrong? PS: I saw one gen Submariner 16610 with RRR rehaut for sale at 3,873 Euros at Schipol Airport. Any good???
  10. Is the GMT IIc case the same size of the New 2008 Sub??? I am not expert but, among Oyster Pro's, each model has a slightly different case size... (Even the cousins GMT2 and Expl2!!!)
  11. http://www.ptswiss.com/ is a showroom. Email him...
  12. I would look for an "adjustable Hour hand" version, which is extremely rare to find... Furthermore, ensure the winding crown is very small and thin: the one on my version is way out. The last thing is that the frame of the hour markers should be black... on most version it is dark grey.
  13. If you were to censor all bad words in Italian, you will need a self learning database, with neural networks... The admins are lucky this valuable forum is in English.
  14. Also standard SS Daytonas (black or white dial) are provided with RRR... The black Sub is my favorite watch. When this version with the RRR is replicated, I will have to buy another.. All in all I still prefer the one without
  15. Reported. The serial is the one used for UPO's.
  16. Just a quick one. Some months ago the new SD case looked like this HERE...
  17. Gorgeous watch, as usual. Excellent pictures, as usual. Do not forget me when you want to sell it!
  18. Really bad! I have been lucky then: I have received two packages from China via FedEx between November and December, but they were not tag as electronic equipment, thank God! I am from Italy...
  19. For Italy, click HERE. I cannot suggest to either use or not use EMS for shipment from China or Taiwan to Italy these days: they have a backlog of months (because of the customs clearance), but some weeks ago I received a package from Taiwan cleared in two days...
  20. Puretime - Angus has the adj. hour hand version, with thin date font... I have both the black face and the white face. More satisfied with the black face (dating May 2006, bought second hand from a fellow member)... It sould match Trusty's adj. hour hand mentioned above.
